IVAN TIRADO Born, 1975, in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, Iván Tirado earned a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities in Liberal Arts, 1998. For many years, art was placed in the back seat, but eventually Ivan would return to his true passion. After achieving a Master’s degree on Education in Instructional Design for Online Learning, Iván began teaching art and while continuing on to pursue his Doctorate after, his sculptures reached from Connecticut and New York, as far as France, Argentina, London, and Puerto Rico as well as other ETHEREAL: A Tribute to Femininity. Tirado is still pursuing his Doctorate along with his passion for art. In 2012, Iván presents The Concrete Collection: a series of works pieces made of concrete, employing a very unorthodox and unique use of the medium.
