Fusion Interiors Group Named ‘Urban Lodge Hotel’ and located just outside of the city in Sloterdijk this property was formerly an office block that was converted into a hotel with 120 rooms including large public area spaces with a bar, a restaurant, and a breakfast area. Quartz LC Ltd With so few contemporary wall lights on the market, Quartz LC’s objective was to design a highly decorative fitting quite different from anything else available. Hand-built with each crystal being specifically placed to refract the light. David Brown, director of Quartz LC, has named this light ‘Iridescent’ due to its phenomenon of certain surfaces that appear to change colour as angle of view or angle of illumination changes. Tom Faulkner Tom Faulkner’s Odessa cabinet is a beautiful and simple design wrapped in bronze with figured silver sycamore veneer and inlaid solid bronze detailing. The concept for Odessa was to make a cabinet that was both simple and luxurious, with a strong metal element to it. Inspiration was drawn from a trip to Europe and Russia and transformed into the Odessa cabinet – the patterns were inspired by a combination of vaulted church ceilings and Russian constructivist paintings. As a young woman I have attended for a period at Marangoni, a fashion/design school in Milan and after, the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. I have worked for 25 years in Italy and abroad for the most prestigious luxury brands in both fashion and design. I have always nurtured a passion for the esoteric sciences and alchemy. How would you describe your personal interior design style?
