PEEK Architecture The property is a townhouse in the heart of Kensington, which had not been touched for several years. It was transformed into a light and airy residence, complete with an additional basement storey, with rear and roof extensions. The building had been untouched for several years and the brief was to create a flexible family house, suitable for informal and formal entertaining. Tom Dixon Studio The Wingback Micro Sofa is a British classic re – mastered for the 21st century. Tom Dixon have rescaled their much appreciated Wingback sofa on an Alice in Wonderland shrinking position for the home and for increasingly confined spaces. The starting point was two seating archetypes: The 17th century wingback and its smaller sibling, the 18th century balloon back. Beleco The Los Angeles based interior design firm, Beleco, were asked to transform a turn of the 20th century office building in downtown Chicago to a boutique hotel. Beleco, is a multi-disciplinary firm with projects ranging from residential to hospitality and restaurants. PTT Family

Katamama is the first hotel by PTT Family, a rare project involving 100% ha bespoke Indonesian techniques to build the whole property, Katamama is a creation. The hotel emphasises Indonesian culture in a contemporary conte architecture, art, design and craftsmanship. Katamama is designed to repr feel Balinese but modern at the same time. Tom Faulkner Berlin is a contemporary easy chair made of leather and steel. Designed by Tom Faulkner, to be simple, elegant, and comfortable. Made of leather and steel, the Berlin chair is a collaboration of ancient and modern British craftsmanship. The leather seat and steel frame have been worked by hand and machine respectively, to create an innovative and distinctive piece of modern day design. The silhouette is a kind of “triskelion” design – strong, simple and dynamic. The frame is water cut out of 12mm steel plate, and the leather has been tanned using the almost medieval technique of oak bark tanning. There are very few tanneries left in the UK that can do this. Maisha Design The clients approached Maisha Design to redesign their threebedroom apartment in Shad Thames into a luxury second home in the city. They wanted a design that was focused on creating a spectacular space for entertaining and hosting their guests – a space that was exciting and different yet full of glamour. Maisha Design wanted to create something unique and beautiful and therefore opted for a vision that was both elegant and striking in their bathroom design. Reloaded Design A unique piece from the 1940s is inspired by the world of music and fashion, vaunting original Bakelite handles and carved wooden legs which have been restored to their natural state by Italian Designer Eliana Trentalancia. The Black Tie Swan Cabinet has been detailed with beads, stones and black rhinestones. The finished top has been hand-painted in a damask design whilst the interior has been lit up with yellow with jewel chains serving as doorstops. The lavish intricate decoration contrasts with the simplicity of the legs in unfinished wood, enhancing the mastery of the carved swans. READ MORE...

Quartz LC Ltd The Netherhall light was designed and built as a large chandelier with an aim to fit into a contemporary environment with a soft warm light. David Brown’s chandelier design is clad in bronze fine woven mesh with a light producing a warm silk-like effect to create a soft inviting ambience. The fitting is scaled to have presence and yet not over-dominate the environment which is fairly minimal. Unlike many chandelier products, their approach to this design is to keep the detailing and visual structure to the absolute minimum. The woven bronze may be an industrial product used for filters, yet as a decorative material it is perfect for this lighting application. READ MORE...

My speciality was Photography, and my career started in print and graphic design. I have worked in the interiors sector for over 10 years and am passionate about creating a unique brand of lighting with innovative designs. I started developing and working on product development for David Hunt around 10 years ago and formally joined the company in 2011 heading up the creative side of the business.
