We understand that every successful project requires the experience not only to see what is directly ahead, but to anticipate the landscape of possibilities, and respond proficiently to whatever comes along - pairing precision of process with creative, outside the box thinking.

Our philosophy is that each project we work on should achieve real benefits through our involvement. Our global presence helps us to understand the challenges faced by our clients and the environment they are operating in. It enables us to address it in our work together and add real value to every project.

We understand that collaboration and outstanding project delivery are based on the experience we create. It requires far more than a partnershipthis also means earning deep trust by living up to our promises every day.

About us

Established in the UK in 1976, we are now an international multi-disciplinary consultancy, operating from 24 locations across the globe with over 1000 people.

When it comes to projects, we’re known for taking the lead. Our curiosity means we ask the right questions, so that as a team we achieve the best results. If someone says it can’t be done, our people aren’t afraid to challenge convention.

Working with top organisations in the region, we help our clients to create a truly remarkable built environment by combining international expertise with intimate local experience.

The quality of our people is one of our biggest strengths. Our clients enjoy working with us and the fact that we consistently win repeat business with 70-80% of them is testament to this.

With sustainability at the heart of everything we do, our creative team of designers deliver innovative, sustainable design solutions to address the project’s whole life cycle. We have set ourselves the ambitious goal of only delivering projects with a zero carbon pathway by 2030. This is just one of the ways we believe we can challenge the industry.

Our Net Zero Carbon 2030 commitment

10 Cundall MENA

We are committed to collaborating with our clients and industry to deliver energy and carbon solutions necessary to keep global warming below 1.5°C. After 2030 Cundall will only work on design projects that are zero carbon.

Strengthening Cundall’s commitment to designing for a sustainable world, the initiative will be rolled out over a eight-year period. We recognise that not every project can achieve zero carbon today and we will work with our clients and industry to make this transition as fast as possible.

Zero Carbon Design 2030 is a global initiative that engages everyone in Cundall - every office, every discipline and every level - to deliver zero carbon solutions. We will develop training programs, tools and guidance for our teams, and will share our knowledge with industry.

Our first target is that by 2023 every Cundall project will have a documented zero carbon pathway. We will encourage and assist our clients to implement these solutions. We want every project to be better because of our involvement in it.

Quality

As the first engineering consultancy in the world to be certified carbon neutral by the Carbon Trust we feel confident in leading by example and helping the built environment meet its environmental responsibilities. Our team includes accredited professionals across the globe with systems such as LEED, BREEAM, GSAS, Estidama, WELL and GREENSTAR.

Technology is driving transformation around the world and is becoming an inevitable part of our daily lives. From BIM to augmented reality and parametric modelling, our experts are implementing the latest technologies to improve project delivery, reduce time spent on design and reviews and to deliver the highest quality product as a result.

At Cundall we understand that our clients choose us for the quality of work we deliver. Whether it means going the extra mile or coming up with a practical solution, quality is always top priority on our agenda. Every project is led by a Partner / Director, who provides experience and guidance throughout the life of the project.

A culture of continual improvement

Our drive for continual improvement is tied to our desire to maintain technical excellence. This starts at the top, forming an important part of leadership forums. The ongoing activities are led by a group of Partners across offices and disciplines, supported by discipline-specific technical committees.
