2022 REGULATIONS 12.2.6 The second, third and fourth place teams will advance to the Scotiabank Concacaf League. 12.2.7 Concacaf League play-in match (if required) 12.2.7.1

If the champion from the Concacaf Caribbean Club Shield complies with the regional requirements as per their associations’ regional club licensing requirements, in addition to the minimum requirements needed for the Scotiabank Concacaf League, as stated in the competition’s regulations, then they will play a single match against the 4th place team of the Flow Concacaf Caribbean Club Championship.

12.2.7.2

The winner will occupy the final Caribbean position for the Scotiabank Concacaf League. If the Caribbean Club Shield’s champion is unable to comply with the aforementioned requirements, then the Concacaf League play-in match will not take place.

12.2.7.3

12.2.8 Tie Breaker Procedures for Semifinals & 3rd place match: 12.2.8.1

If the two teams are tied at the end of regular time, then kicks from the penalty spot procedure as per the IFAB Laws of the Game will determine the winner.

12.2.9 Tie Breaker Procedures for Final & Concacaf League play-in match:

12.2.9.1

For the Final match of the Concacaf Caribbean Club Championship, if the match remains tied at the end of regulation time, two 15-minute periods of extra time will be played.

12.2.9.2

If extra time is required, there is a five-minute break between the end of normal time and the start of extra time. As a rule, the players remain on the field of play during this five-minute break, at the discretion of the referee.

12.2.9.3

A sixth substitute will be allowed in extra time.

12.2.9.4

If the match remains tied at the end of extra time, then the winner will be determined by kicks from the penalty spot as per the IFAB Laws of the Game.

VENUES, KICK-OFF TIMES AND TRAININGS SESSIONS 13.1

Each Association is responsible for the inspection of the venue(s) that reside within its territories and in which will be utilized for this competition. This inspection must be completed no later than 90 days prior to the start of the competition utilizing Concacaf’s
