What causes you to “neglect meeting together” with your church family?

What does “stirring up one another to love and good works” look like for us here in 21st century Chillicothe Illinois?

If you were to be asked about your relationship with Jesus what would you think of? Your prayer, Bible reading etc…? Would you think of your relationships with the specific Christians in your life and Church? In other words, do you view your relationship with Jesus as entirely a “personal” thing?

How can you as a family or group “stir up one another to love and good works” this week (see Head question)? Pick at least one of those ways and do it this week.

The New Testament on several occasions tells us that our witness is often tied to how we love one another in the body of Christ. This type of encouragement and love is attractive to those outside the faith. How can you as a family/group work together to invite non-Christians or young Christians to be with your family/group in a way that amplifies your preaching of the Gospel to them?
