titus 3:4-7 head hands feet heart

Here we see that Salvation is a Trinitarian work where the Father sent the Son, whom we are saved through, and the Father and the Son sent the Spirit to “regenerate and renew” us. Spend time as a group/family thanking God for our salvation.

The Spirit is the one who convicts a person of sin and brings them to repentance. He mostly does this by bringing Christians into this person’s life to share the Gospel. While we are commanded to participate in this great work it is ultimately the Spirit who is responsible for a person’s salvation. If the “results” of salvation are the Spirits alone, why are we commanded to share the Gospel?

The fact that the “results” of sharing the Gospel are dependent on the Spirit, not us, should free us to share with more confidence. Have there been times where you were scared to share the Gospel because you didn’t want to “mess it up” by saying the wrong thing? How can this truth help you in the future to share the Gospel with more confidence?

Pray that God would have His Spirit bring someone into your life this week who you can share the Gospel with.

Share the Gospel with a friend or family member who doesn’t yet know Jesus this week.
