Aduaka is born in Nigeria. When he left Nigeria he moved to London where he discovered Cinema, nowdays he is living in Paris. Newton I. Aduaka first made a name for himself directing shorts, then feature length films that allowed him to reach fame first at the Cannes Festival and then around the world, Despite the success of his movies, “Rage” and, especially, “Ezra”, Aduaka has never renounced short films, which he himself has defined as an “autonomous creative form”.
