Karissa Hagemeister-Irani is on a life long journey to share love, beauty and truth with the world. She enjoys modeling, acting and singing. She has her own fashion line and in July of 2016, Karissa published her first book. Her future plans are to revamp the fashion & entertainment industry with the love, truth and beauty through both her fashion business and Beautiful & Dauntless magazine. Editor-in-Chief of the Dauntless section of the magazine, Arman Irani, married Karissa in June of 2019.

Arman Irani is just another fellow human. He’s admittedly a little bit nerdy. How nerdy? Well, he just received a Bachelors degree in Nanotechnology. Arman loves working out, cooking healthy, dressing up, traveling and he’s also a bit of a gamer. He has no qualms with moving in faith to new destinations and embarking on new adventures in life (as the phrase goes, you only live once!). When it comes down to it, Arman believes life is short and hopes that you become inspired and believe in yourself to do the things that you want in this life and follow your calling.

Arnette German is a native of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. She took her leap of faith and finally decided to yield to her passion for fashion by enrolling in the online Graduate Program of Fashion Journalism at Academy Art University in San Francisco, California. No stranger to the stage, Arnette is a member of the Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe in Sarasota, Florida. Presently calling Bradenton, Florida home, Arnette spends her free time either volunteering at her local church and spending time with friends and family, especially her best friend.

Xiomara has a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design from Southeastern University with a concentration in Digital Imaging. Visual Storytelling has always been a passion of hers. To be able to bring life to the imagination is what motivates her to design. When Xiomara is not working, she loves to read, write, draw, paint, and play video games. She personally believes that we were all created to create.

Happy New Year My Loves!

A s we swiftly entered into the first chapter of 2022, after we just got finished exchanging gifts from the December birthday jamborees, gleefully celebrating Kwanzaa, Hanukkah and/or Christmas and counting down to the New Year, this month, reflect on one the greatest gift haphazardly given away due to the misplaced value of it. Once absent, it is very intricate to obtain again. What you ask? Trust. Trust is that invisible foundation that sustains the design of any “ship” i.e. friendship, partnership, fellowship and/ or relationship-trust is the key that “locks” outside threats from infiltrating the infrastructure of the connection at hand. In addition to, it “locks” in the life for that link to remain affixed in order to exist too. Even though December just left us, the greatest display of trust is found in the infamous story of all time that is recited and depicted heavily this time of the yearthe birth of Christ. Jesus’s mother, Mary, an engaged teenaged virgin, trusted God in accepting her heavenly appointed assignment by becoming of child through the Holy Spirit to bring into the earthly realm the savior of the world. Joseph, his father, an older Carpenter had to trust an angel of the Lord informing him to not doubt in continuing to marry Mary but to embrace: she was pregnant, how she became pregnant, why she was and fully understand the magnitude of whom she was carrying. Without question, their trust was ultimately tested; individually and collectively. Embarrassment, shame and mockery were inevitable. However, their commitment and confidence in God girded their relationship, faith and obedience to carryout the will for not only their lives but for the world!

Through this openly display of trust, one of the many ways I learned to trust better, healthier and correctly was not just through Christ’s birth but also through His embracing His assignment in sacrificing His life for others to receive life. Christ had to trust God, His heavenly father to move forward in doing so and knowing that all that was going to come after this act was truthful. All the while, believing, yet knowing, Arnette, was going to need Him in order to live and survive. Reflecting back in the year of 2016, one of the hardest years of my life, I recall while preparing for my final projects and exams, I began going through a major life transition and also became unemployed in the process. I distinctively remember feeling a wave of different emotions seeming like they were all competing at the same time vying to be the first to: “win” me, “break me down”, “own” me, have my “undivided” attention and “control” me. Not wanting to give in to what I was feeling, I remember saying within myself with tears streaming down my face, “God-I don’t how you are going to do it…don’t know where the money will come from…you see all that is going on. I just know that you are. God, I trust you. I know that you got me. You’ve come through for me before…I trust you to do it again”. And in that same prayer within myself, I included different personal testimonies I remembered Him coming and others of my congregation too to increase my faith and not give in to fear, worry and doubt trying get at me. Slightly after my talk with Him, I felt the urge to get up and get ready to go driving somewhere. While driving, thought I’d go to Walmart. Got a phone call-got distracted. Missed turn while talking and continued driving. Wanted to turn around to go back to Walmart. But felt I needed to keep driving.

Not shortly there after, felt like an okay given to turn around. Upon doing so, some point while driving back, traffic slowed down and I saw lose money flying across the highway. As I got in the left lane, I saw nothing but 20’s, 50’s, 10’s, 5’s and 1’s- I pulled over multiple times retrieving the money and collected $280.00…all from different spots on the side of the road. I received enough that after deducting my tithe, I still had enough for gas and materials for my final project. Don’t tell me He won’t come through for you right on time! Nor He doesn’t hear our/your prayers because He does; regardless of how big or small. He knows how to make it happen in a way that you know it was only HIM that came through for you! For me, trusting Him became real for me on that day. Not that I didn’t before-it just came extremely personal for me…that day! Therefore, this month, I ask you to reevaluate who and what are you placing your trust in. Is it the right key to “lock” in on someone and “unlock” their potential in order to bring life to a he and/or she to enhance their life so they can fulfill their destiny, purpose or calling? Is the right key that permits you to seek out and live out your life accordingly in the will Christ has for you? Or are you just holding a key or a bunch of keys that doesn’t lock/unlock anything in your life because you’re more happy with the appearance of possessing multiple keys versus putting in the work to truly discover the power the keys have and bring to your life? The greatest present, is the presence of Christ in your life and gifting Him with your trust by accepting Him as your personal savior that He gifted you with from the beginning. Christ already did the hard part of presenting His life in order for you to truly have Life. The easy part is accepting His gift-Him. After all, trust is the Key. Until next time my Loves! 22

Out With the Old in With the New By Karissa Hagemeister

Every start of a new year, I always like to go through my stuff and just do a cleaning out of old things. Maybe it is papers, cosmetics, food … you name it. One thing that has been especially hard for me to go through and get rid of is clothing. I tend to take really good care of my clothing so that it can last ten or even more years. I literally still have some clothing from high school. The problem is, like most women, I enjoy getting new clothes. And I do get new clothes quite often. So you can imagine that I have closets and drawers and boxes full of clothing. There is so much that I don’t think I could wear it all in a year even if I tried. This past year, after moving for who knows how many times, I finally came to the realization that I do not need all of that clothing and I am not going to wear most of it ever again. So even before this new year began, I painfully started going through all of my clothing and shoes. I made piles and filled trash bags. Some of it has been worn a bit - not in bad condition - but I made the decision to give some to the goodwill and those in need and I chose to sell others. Some ladies make quite a pretty penny selling their slightly used clothes on Poshmark and Mercari. Short blurb: If you have not heard of Poshmark or Mercari, they are just different apps where you can list clothing, shoes, home decor, all kinds of things. You can make some decent money by being honest about the condition, persistent about posting items for sale and quick about getting them out in the mail. If you have found that you have some products you want to sell and you think they look good enough that you would buy them again … start posting and see what happens. Let’s talk about cleaning things out - if you want to make a clean start this year, I am not saying go through and get rid of everything. Maybe you need to just start by getting rid of those socks that have holes in them and your favorite shirt that has stains on it. Let’s be classy ladies and remember there is no such thing as a “lucky” anything. If you have clothing that do not fit you anymore, sell it or give it away. You may be thinking that you are saving it for when you lose weight but why don’t you set a weight goal and when you reach it get yourself a brand new outfit with the money you made from the old one. That is how you really reward yourself. If you are holding onto certain items because you think they may come back into style, well you are probably right but by the time they come back into style, it will not fit your maturity level anymore.

It is okay and even good to get rid of clothing and accessories. Designers are still going to be making clothing for years to come and I am sure you are going to be getting some more in the future. It is a good practice to go through and clean things out often, especially our clothing. I feel like for me, that is one thing that I just keep accumulating and have to constantly get rid of the old to make room for the new. Just as we are taking time to clean out our houses, closets and garages this new January, I feel Jesus saying that he wants to clean out our hearts. Our hearts can often times be like our houses. They have rooms and closets and we store things in different areas. Maybe it is a sin that we like to keep in the closet. We know it is old and disgusting but we cannot give ourselves to get rid of it. Jesus says we don’t need those holey socks anymore. He has a brand new pair of socks just for you to put on this year. He wants you to walk in newness with him. Maybe you have skeletons of your past hiding under your bed in your heart. He says that he wants those skeletons. He knows your past and if you ask him, he is gracious and will forgive you of the past mistakes. He just wants all of you. He does not want a skeleton to be in between you and the love he has for you. He does not condemn you. He offers you a new life, free from all the pain of the past. Maybe you have unforgiveness or even hatred hid away in the pantry of your heart. It could be hatred towards someone else or even towards yourself. He wants you to let go of that too. He knows what has happened. He was there and he understands the pain, the frustration and the hurt. He loves you and he wants you to live freely without the weight of hatred and unforgiveness holding you down. He has forgiveness us of all the mean things we have said and done to him. We did not even deserve it but he gives it so freely. He loves you more than you could ever know. Cleaning out of the heart is a constant process. Every time something new happens in life, there is a chance to get offended or hurt or hold onto grudges. That is why I am always asking Jesus to come in and clean out whatever needs to be burned up inside of my heart. It is a constant work but I want my heart to be found pleasing to God when he decides it is time for me to come home. Whatever you decide to clean out this year, I wish you the best. I pray that you have a great new year. I look forward to sharing more fashion tips with you in the future.

Codie Green Since being on the cover of Beautiful & Dauntless Magazine, I have been published multi times in many different kinds of magazines. I started working with Victoria Henley from America’s Next Top Model cycle 19. I’ve gotten to do a lot of traveling and I’ve been able to walk in many fashion shows as well. I also got engaged in February as well as had my 3rd baby, Khaleesi Bloom Marie in May. I’m really proud of myself because in December of this year, I graduate with honors with a Bachelors in Science from University Of Houston. After graduation, I will be launching my online store early of next year. Destiny’s Treasure Box will be a spiritual and holistic store. I also started my own Mary Kay business this past October. So, therefore I can have you feeling good on the inside and looking good on the outside as well. The future looks bright and I’m very excited about the new opportunity coming my way. Meggie Jenny I’ve been so blessed to be busy since I last appeared in Beautiful and Dauntless. I’ve earned more acting nominations and worked on several movies, of few of which have been Mindreader, Song of the Tree Frogs, Still Pitching and Running the Bases. I also now host a virtual talk show titled Meggie Rambles with Other People. On Meggie Rambles, my goal is to highlight Faith and Family entertainment in a light hearted manner with a lot of fun. I talk with people in the entertainment industry about what they are creating, talk life and play a game. I’m looking forward to where the Lord will take me next. (Also pictured on pages 40-41)

Keanna Toms So far this year I got a magazine cover for a magazine called Faddy based in Italy and just this past weekend I got another magazine feature inside CIE fashion magazine based in Los Angeles CA. I’m still always building my model resume and looking forward to participating in different fashion events as well as getting signed to a professional agency soon in the near future. Since the March 2019 Issue 39 publication, that Lady Steph and Bruh Chris were in , we added a new member to join our group, our sister Monica, who goes by the name of Ms. Monica. You will find an attachment of our recent picture from a photo shoot to promote our new song, Agape Love.

One of the venues we had the pleasure of performing at was the Yellow Cab Tavern; where we were able to minister in song and dance to the local community. We would like to thank our dear friend, Mayor McDonald, and her daughter, for their support and for LIVE Streaming our performance via Facebook, that garnered over 1K Views.

I also would like to thank our friends and loved ones that came out to support us! We have been blessed to have a gifted and talented musician, Maestro Charles Beacham and sound engineer, Matt Hagberg, to collaborate with on our songs.” Thank you to editor, Michaelangelo Hayes of Speed on the Beat. Com Digital Magazine , for doing a featured article as well, on our music, mission, and platform. I have been on numerous podcasts to speak on my platform or knowing your purpose and using the gifts and talents God gave you for the betterment of mankind.

I was asked to submit a fashion portfolio to Nike and Serena Williams Design Crew showcasing my Kentucky Derby and The Royal Ascot of London Hats as well as my Mood Color Changing and Metaphysical Jewelry Line! I, Lady Steph, was also invited to fly to Atlanta to appear on the Steve Harvey Show for the “Ask Steve” segment on FB, which will be aired in January 2022! Once leaving the show, at the airport when flying home the next day I met the iconic rapper Lil Wayne ! We talked about him empowering the youth in a positive way. I told him that he didn’t have the luxury to not use his influence for young children in a good way. He was very kind, respectful, and attentive. No one in the airport knew it was him but me, due to his mask being on, but I recognized his tattoo and his eyes. He asked me to keep it a secret which I did for our entire trip! It was exciting and a good feeling to see the quiet, kind side of a well known iconic rapper as Lil Wayne, a.k.a Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. I gave him my card so hopefully, he listened to our song, Lady Steph - You Don’t Have The Luxury and Lady Steph feat. Bruh Chris and Ms. Monica - This Is God’s House. I thank God for blessing me to have the opportunity to share my music and books with both Steve Harvey and Lil Wayne ( who is one of the worlds best selling music artists)!

The other event that has taken place in our lives was being asked to do a non-profit for our Music Ministry and joining A.C.T International ( Artist in Christian Testimony International). We are so excited about going out to sing and minister to people in prisons, homeless shelters, and so forth. We hope to gain sponsorship, so we can help those that are lost and feel like they don’t matter or have a voice in society.

As you can see, God has really blessed me and my siblings in our music, fashion empowerment, andbooks. I hope we can continue to make a good difference in people’s lives , as our parents taught us, every day that we are blessed to see! I thank our parents Beverly and Arthur Chambers looking down on us from Heaven as my siblings and I ( Erika, Stephanie, Monica, and Christopher), take this journey as a family to minister and promote hope and kindness through music, fashion, and writings. Cheri Glover Since I was featured in Beautiful & Dauntless Magazine in 2019, I’ve been fortunate and blessed to participate in different projects.

In 2020, I was chosen as one of twelve women to be honored as a Heart Disease Survivor through the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.

As an Honoree, I had the opportunity to share my “Heart Story” and raise funds for the organization by spreading awareness of Heart Disease and having a healthy heart. I’ve also been featured in a few other magazines, such as She Is E-Magazine, Elegance in Focus Magazine, Lehigh Valley Style, Magazine, Resilient Magazine, and recently Emerge Woman Magazine.

In addition as a Fashion Model, I’ve been able to work with a few designers. Some of the designers that I have worked with were VHanley Designs, Culture Trees Designs, and Sha’Vi Lewis, who was featured on Season 18 of Project Runway.

Lastly, I am in the process of writing my first book. I am also known as the #ModelMotivator and I’ve been able to dive into the space of motivational speaking by sharing my heart story and modeling journey with others at conferences. As the Model Motivator, I motivate others to go after their dreams despite their circumstances and achieve their goals. Winter Soup Ingredients: 2 pounds ground beef 3 medium onions 1 garlic clove 30 oz condensed beef broth 1 can (28 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained 3 cups of water 1 cup each diced carrots and celery 1 cup fresh or frozen cut green beans 1 cup cubed peeled potatoes 2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes 1 teaspoon dried basil 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme Salt and pepper to taste Directions: In a large skillet, cook beef and onions over medium heat until meat is no longer pink. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Drain. Transfer to a 5-qt. slow cooker. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low until vegetables are tender, 6-8 hours. 62

Inadequacy Vs. Legacy Thank you Lord that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Lord, when you created me you made a MASTERPIECE because I was made in your image and likeness. Therefore, I have everything that I need living inside of me. I may not be like the next person to my right or to my left, but that is the beauty of being an individual. When you created me Lord, you gave me unique gifts and talents that I can bless the world with. You gave me something that I can call my own. You gave me something that is special. You gave me, ME! And I am ENOUGH! So many people look to the crowd to get validation or praise. But, since I was created with your two hands and you knew me before I was in my mother’s womb, then that is the only validation that I need. Therefore, I will shake off the thoughts of inadequacy and focus on you. It says in your word that I am more than a conqueror and I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. Therefore, as I am being shaped, molded, and developed into what you’ve called me to be, I can breathe easy because I belong to you. With all of my flaws I am still beautiful in your sight. I am still your child and there is no one on the planet like me. I will choose to love me and see myself in the way that you see me Lord. Therefore, I will end this as I began. As we are about to embark on yet another new year, undoubtedly there is a sea of thoughts and emotions swirling in the minds of people everywhere. The last couple of years brought many things that were unknown, unexpected, and experiences that many people of this lifetime had never experienced. For some there was deep grief and loss, others have experienced challenges that may have affected their home, their families, their careers. When life happens to the extent that it has these last couple of years, literally globally, it is going to have an impact on people in some form or fashion. I think it is safe to say that every person has been affected to some degree. What used to be a time of just setting goals or new year’s resolutions, the usual time we are looking to make changes to better our lives and feeling the anticipation of a new year. It is compared to opening a new page in our life giving us that reset option. A fresh opportunity to write a new chapter.

However, it is a bit of a different feeling this year, at least for most people. Many may certainly be pressing forward with goals and expectations, and I sincerely hope that you are, it is important to keep “living” and not become complacent or give up. Nevertheless, from conversations I have had with clients, cashiers at the check-out, friends, and family, the conversations go something like, “have a Happy New Year…at least I hope it’s a happy year.” The words come out as they are trying to sound cheerful, but hesitancy is hanging in their response. Or another I have heard frequently, is “Happy New Year, umm it can’t be any worse, it has to be better, right?”

As if they want some reassurance that this year will provide some hope.

Is this horrible roller coaster ride that has had some heart sinking deep drops, painful jerking and unexpected curves, and frightening times of being upside down for longer than necessary finally over, are we able to get off the ride and mark it as, I survived but never want to ride it again, or are we holding on with white knuckles, teeth clenched, and heart pounding inside, tears streaming down our face as we prepare to go around again?

I don’t have that answer, however, what I have found during the last two years, and honestly in dealing with life’s challenges that have been very consistent in my fifty plus years, is that there is one way I have been able to locate that invaluable place called peace. Only one that has truly worked time after time. Before we go on, what I want to make incredibly clear is this is not a quick fix, overnight wonder. This is something that you seek after and maintain. Much like getting a car, it can be beautiful, shiny, and great usage of getting you from one place to another, but if you don’t keep gas in it and a regular oil change. It will become an expensive shiny yard ornament. This place called peace is something that you also must maintain, staying in a place of connection with your Creator and spending more time in His Word, than all of the words on the news, social media or elsewhere.

How many times when we are going through something, do we find ourselves looking for someone that has “the answer”. If we are sick or experiencing physical symptoms, do we jump on WebMD and try to figure out what is causing our aches and pains. Or uncle Charles spilled grape juice on our white rug, and we googled it to find a way to get the stain removed? We want a resolve, we want to know there is a way to get past the struggle, the pain, the unanswered questions.

Sometimes, we are struggling with something that we don’t have answers for and we may reach out to family or friends, hoping for some help, some answers. Don’t misunderstand me, we should reach out to others, stay connected to people and share when you are hurting, afraid and overwhelmed. Never isolate yourself. Isolation breeds deception, and is not healthy, ever.

What I want to convey is realizing that there are things, believe it or not, that google, or even those we love, and trust will not always have the answers to our questions. What I want to encourage you in is with all the uncertainty that our world is in and all of the uncertainty that your personal world is in, may you find that place of peace by looking first and foremost take it to the Source that has all the answers There is One who can give you answers and strength to carry on, One who is never shaken or thrown off by life. In fact, He is fully and completely aware of the end from the beginning. He holds qualities that are far beyond our capability to comprehend. He is omniscient; He knows everything

He is omnipresent: He is always present in all places. He is omnipotent: He is all powerful.

I have found that when I come to Him, and with the belief all of the above; it causes me to realize that although I cannot understand all that is transpiring, He does. Whatever my situation or circumstance; He is present. No matter how enormous, impossible, or terrifying of anything I am encountering; He is more powerful.

Though I do not know what the future holds, I know Who holds my future.

I spoke about that maintenance aspect. Again, it is more than just knowing. In finding that place of peace which requires some action on our part. The scripture tells us; Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.” In John 15: 1-11, Jesus compares our relationship to Him as the Branch and vines, He as being the Branch and we the vines. He speaks of “abiding” in Him. This is an action word; this is part of the maintenance.

“I am the true Vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that continues to bear fruit, He [repeatedly] prunes, so that it will bear more fruit [even richer and finer fruit]. You are already clean because of the word which I have given you [the teachings which I have discussed with you]. Remain in Me, and I [will remain] in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself without remaining in the vine, neither can you [bear fruit, producing evidence of your faith] unless you remain in Me. I am the Vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him bears much fruit, for [otherwise] apart from Me [that is, cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken off] branch and withers and dies; and they gather such branches and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you remain in Me and My words remain in you [that is, if we are vitally united and My message lives in your heart], ask whatever you wish and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified and honored by this, when you bear much fruit, and prove yourselves to be My [true] disciples. I have loved you just as the Father has loved Me; remain in My love [and do not doubt My love for you]. If you keep My commandments and obey My teaching, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. I have told you these things so that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy may be

made full and complete and overflowing.” (Amp Bible).

So instead of letting our mind wander and be overtaken by fear and anxiety, we turn our thoughts to Him. We can do that by worshipping Him, in prayer, song, and meditating on His Word, the Bible.

The other very effective way to strengthen your faith in God is to declare it, then speak it out loud and claim it as your very own. The Bible tells us that; “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17

I want to share one of my favorite passages, and I am going to break it down to its Hebrew meaning. With hopes that it will become more real and personal to you. As you step into this new year, although it may be that you step into this year with heaviness and trembling; realize you are not alone. Declare this over you, do it daily, find other passages and speak the scriptures out loud over your life. Your faith will arise, and you will come to know that your Father God has you in His care. Psalms 91

My Refuge and My Fortress

He that dwelleth (to sit, remain, dwell, abide, live, inhabit ,John 15:4) in the secret place (a covering, hiding place, secrecy, under cover, concealed) of the most High (high, upper, upper as opposed to lower, upper chambers- Ephesians 2:4-7) shall abide (to lodge, pass the night, abide, spend the night, think of pulling into a shelter, a safe place rather than being out in the night.) under the shadow (a shadow, protection, shelter; to be in someone’s shadow you are very close to them) of the Almighty (field, land, sufficient, omnipotent, sovereign Lord).

I will say (to utter, say, to call, (to declare...this is your part you need to speak out the Word of God) of the LORD (Yahweh, the proper name of the God of Israel) He is my refuge(refuge, shelter, refuge from danger, from storms, refuge from falsehood)and my fortress (net, prey, fastness, stronghold- The definition of a stronghold is a place that has been secured tightly in case of attack, picture a safe room, that is unable to be accessed from the outside.): my God (Elohim, divine being, mighty); in him will I trust(to trust, confident, felt secure, put my trust).

Surely (that, for, when, because, however, since)He (He, Himself) shall deliver thee (to strip, plunder, deliver oneself, be delivered, snatch away, deliver, rescue, escape, separate)from the snare (a bird trap – definition, A trapping device, often consisting of a noose, used for capturing birds and small mammals.- 1Peter 5:8)of the fowler (a fowler, trapper, entangled), and from the noisome pestilence (pestilence, plague, thorns). He shall cover thee (to overshadow, screen, cover, hedge, or fence about, shut in, close up, to stop -Isaiah 54:17, Deuteronomy 28 speaks of blessing and curses, walking in obedience to God provides blessings on your life and protection, but when we walk away and live in disobedience there are consequences to our choice, it is not God inflicting us, but we are reaping what we chose to sow. Ecclesiastes 10:8) with his feathers (a pinion-Deuteronomy 32:11-14), and under (underneath, below, instead of, under parts) his wings (wing, extremity, edge, skirt, wingspan) shalt

thou trust (to seek refuge, seek shelter, take refuge.): his truth (firmness, faithfulness, truth, lasting) shall be thy shield (probably a hook, barb, large shield(covering whole body); — absolute)and buckler (a buckler something surrounding the person, i.e. a shield – buckler). Thou shalt not (not, most assuredly) be afraid (to fear) for the terror (dread, disaster, great fear, panic, terror) by night (night, as opposed to day); nor for the arrow (arrow, archers, arrow, shaft, wound) that flieth (to fly) by day (daytime, by day, day as opposed to night- Ephesians 6:16);

Nor for the pestilence (pestilence, plague, thorns) that walketh (to go, come, walk, come near1 Peter 5:8) in darkness (darkness, gloom, deep in the earth, spiritual darkness); nor for the destruction (destruction, sting -1 Corinthians 15:55)

that wasteth (waste, to swell up, to devastate) at noonday (mid-day noon, (when sun mounts its highest). A thousand (a thousand) shall fall (to fall, lie, bring down, cast down, dismounted) at thy side (a side, beside), and ten thousand (multitude, myriad, ten thousand, myriad numerous, ten thousand, ten thousands) at thy right hand (right hand – Isaiah 45:1); but it shall not (not, cannot) come (to draw near, approach, come close, overtake) nigh thee(to, into, towards, above, beside, behind, between). Only (but, even, except, howbeit howsoever, at the least, nevertheless) with thine eyes (an eye, eyesight) shalt thou behold and see (to look, behold, gaze, observe) the reward (requital, retribution, recompense) of the wicked (wicked, criminal, evil man, wicked man, guilty, offender). For (that, for, when) he shall give his angels charge (to lay charge (upon), give charge (to), command, order, appointed) over thee, (to keep, watch, preserve, guard) in all (the whole, all, all his everything) thy ways (way, road, distance, journey, manner, acts, direction, mission). They shall bear thee up (to lift, carry, take, assist) in their hands (hollow or flat of the hand, palm, sole (of the foot), a pan), lest (because, otherwise you might) thou dash (to strike, smite, hurt, stumble) thy foot (feet, foot, footsteps) against a stone (stone, weight, cornerstone- Matthew 21:42-46).

Thou shalt tread(to tread, march, aim, trample, stamp him, trod them down) upon(upon, above, over- Deuteronomy 28:13)the lion(a fierce lion-1 Peter 5:8) and adder( (a venomous serpent perhaps cobra) : the young lion(young lion)(and the dragon(serpent, devourer dragon, sea monster-Mark 16:8, Revelations 12) shalt thou trample under feet( to trample, oppressor, treadRomans 16:20). Because (that, for, when) he hath set his love (to be attached to, love)

upon me, therefore will I deliver him (to escape, preserve, rescue): I will set him on high (to be inaccessibly high, lifted, set him securely on high ), because(that, for, when) he hath known (to know, acknowledge, understand, experience, familiar friend, intimate friend, know assuredly)my name (a name, famous, renowned). He shall call upon me (to call, proclaim, read, cried, grasps,invited, make a proclamation, screamed, shouted, summoned), and I will answer him (to answer, respond, support, help): I (I, Myself)will be with him in trouble (straits, distress) I will deliver him (to draw off or out, withdraw), and honor him (to be heavy, weighty, or burdensome, achieve honor, distinguished, held in honor, multiply, respected). With long (length, long, so long, forever,) life (day, age, daily course, eternity, forever) will I satisfy him(to be sated, satisfied or (surfeited=excess amount of something, drink to the fill, fed them to their fill, have it in excess, enough, have in plenty, in abundance, saturates), and shew him(to see, become visible, displayed, encountered, look, keep on looking) my salvation(salvation, deeds of deliverance, deliverance, help , prosperity, save , saving , security, victories , victory) . I pray this will be encouraging to you as you start another page in your life as you move forward into this new year. We may not know all that is ahead but take courage and understand that God is fully aware of all things and has promised to take care of those who follow and obey Him. Don’t discredit or wish you had not been born at this time. He purposely chose for you to be alive right now, He has a purpose for your life, and will equip you for that purpose.
