HELLO
Wow! So much has happened in one month since our last magazine release. I have been praying for you since all of this COVID-19 stuff started happening. I pray that you all are safe. I pray that you are still able to work but from home. I pray for healthy bodies and strong immune systems. I also pray for our government that they would continue to take the best steps to get rid of this virus and help get our country’s economy back on track. If there are any specific needs that you have, feel free to share them with me and I will lift you up in prayer. You may notice that some of our content is a little different than normal due to the quarantine. We have not been doing much traveling or eating out. We are inside trying to stop the spread. Also, some of the events that we have been planning are postponed until further notice. Stay positive, beautiful friends. This will not last forever. We love you! Bring Beautiful Back.

Karissa Hagemeister-Irani is on a life long journey to share love, beauty and truth with the world. She enjoys modeling, acting and singing. She has her own fashion line and in July of 2016, Karissa published her first book. Her future plans are to revamp the fashion & entertainment industry with the love, truth and beauty through both her fashion business and Beautiful & Dauntless magazine. Editor-in-Chief of the Dauntless section of the magazine, Arman Irani, married Karissa in June of 2019.

Arman Irani is just another fellow human. He’s admittedly a little bit nerdy. How nerdy? Well, he just received a Bachelors degree in Nanotechnology. Arman loves working out, cooking healthy, dressing up, traveling and he’s also a bit of a gamer. He has no qualms with moving in faith to new destinations and embarking on new adventures in life (as the phrase goes, you only live once!). When it comes down to it, Arman believes life is short and hopes that you become inspired and believe in yourself to do the things that you want in this life and follow your calling.

Arnette German is a native of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. She took her leap of faith and finally decided to yield to her passion for fashion by enrolling in the online Graduate Program of Fashion Journalism at Academy Art University in San Francisco, California. No stranger to the stage, Arnette is a member of the Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe in Sarasota, Florida. Presently calling Bradenton, Florida home, Arnette spends her free time either volunteering at her local church and spending time with friends and family, especially her best friend. Throughout the Bible, God has boldly delivered many PSAs or Public Announcements within the holy scriptures that still stands the test of time to this present day, on how sensitive He is about His children. His heirs to the kingdom. His disciples. His friends. Either from the promised results from their healthy spiritual self-care régime that seamlessly crosses over into their everyday life and mere well being, or simply the innumerable expected consequences rendered to one/many contingent upon the fair or unjust treatment of His children too. From God assuring that He’ll never abandon you-always being there, (Deuteronomy 31 :6; KJV) or even to Him using your mouth to speak His word that He personally placed in it, (Jeremiah 1 :9; KJV). Additionally, to His eyes steadily tracing back and forth of this Earth seeking out how to bless you, (2 Chronicles 16 :9; KJV), pronounces just how invaluable and special God’s baby...you...are to Him! Have you ever desired to know how to make your life beautiful and special? As a non believer...non follower of Christ : 1. ) Repent of your sins, 2.) Accept Christ into your life and 3.) Follow His guidelines and you will see just how much of a difference having Him makes your life so much better. As a believer, the same is to be executed: honoring and following His word. Case in point, Ephesians 2 :10 (KJV) public announcement expounds on this. Your beauty and value which was created through and by Him, can be owned and known by you adhering to God’s directives.

More so, understanding parameters....His...were put in place for a reason facilitates in cultivating and nurturing the honoring, valuing and respecting of the order He has at hand, that is to be carried out in decency to lend unto the specialness, value and beauty of you, your life, your purpose and your destiny! After all, special IS His speciality! To better grasp this concept, from the mouth of a babe, my 9 year old niece, (wanting to lend assistance in helping me compose my article) tenderly, yet, matter factly (while looking me square in face after hearing the mentioned scripture-her quick and sound interpretation struck me hard and made me proud all at once), said it this way, “follow the path...the good path God has for you because He made you and He knows what’s best for you...in order for you to see all He has for you!” So, if the adolescent understands her worth and end lies in surrendering to the will of God for her life...I know you too can embrace the simplicity of seeing just how special you and the will for your life is to Him simply through yielding to Him and not ignoring Him so you can follow the blueprints He has designed for your life! He’s waiting...waiting just for YOU! After all, special IS His Speciality! Now. Know. It. Own. It. And. Walk. In. It. Xoxo and God Bless!

You know when conversing with someone new we tend to try and find a common ground. We seek the potential similarities that will allow us to create a bridge to this other person that establishes a bond. Maybe even a long lasting connection. We notice big things at first such as eye color, height, and possibly how they laugh. Then as the conversation progresses we begin to notice smaller things about the person; details if you will. Maybe whenever they smile their eyes crinkle in the corners or whenever they are giving their full attention their eyebrows rise a little. Before you know it, the bridge you wanted to build based on the things you have in common has been built on the all the distinctive differences between you. This is something that we tend to overlook. Although having things in common with others is nice and welcomed, but we cannot disregard the uniqueness of the individual. Each of us have tackled and have been tackled by Life in various ways. These individualized experiences have molded us all, in a particular fashion that sets us apart from the person next to us. God did not create clones with a cookie cutter. He is compared to a Potter who takes precious time molding his clay vases all beautiful and one of a kind. When we relate to others you will notice that it is within your personal testimony that others will find strength in. Your differences make you who you are and there is power in that. God made you especially lovely so that you can rise above adversity and help connect to others not by your similarities but through the special qualities forged in your being.

You Are Special By Karissa Hagemeister-Irani When God created the Earth thousands of years ago, he made the trees, the animals and he made mankind. Even though he spent time making all of these different species of plants and mammals, man was made special. (When I say man, I mean mankind - men and women). Here is just a glimpse of how special God created us to be, found in Genesis 1:26, “Then God said, ‘Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.’” Out of everything that God created on this earth, we are the only ones that have been created in the image of God. Not the birds. Not the trees. Not the monkeys, whales or bees. Man is the only one created after the likeness of the creator. That is not all. God also created man to rule over all of these things. He gave us rule over all the animals, creatures and even the fish. Psalm 8:4-8 reiterates this point and takes it a few steps further, “What is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet: all flocks and herds, and the animals of the wild, the birds in the sky, and the fish in the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas.” Once again this shows us that God has made us rulers over all other living things. This scripture also reveals that we have been crowned with glory and honor. But the best part of all is at the very first part of the verse that says that God is not only mindful of us but he also cares for us. If you do not get it yet, you are special to God. He is mindful of you. He knows you. He cares for you. When Jesus, the very Son of God, walked this earth he took time often to share how his Father feels towards his prized creation (you and me). In Luke 12, Jesus is sharing how God cares for even the smallest things, the sparrows. In verse 7 he shares that we are worth more than many sparrows, “Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” 28

If you have been wondering how special you are, or if you are even special at all, God knows the number of hairs on your head. You don’t even know that. Your mother and father do not even know that number. When a hair falls out or another grows, God is the only one who knows and who cares. That is how special you are to the God that created you. Two other great scriptures that you can read in the Bible that share God’s love for us are in Psalm 139 and Isaiah 43. I am not going to share them in this article but I do encourage you to take a few extra minutes to read them. I do want to share four very special verses from Psalm 139, verses 13 through 16. “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” God has known about you since before you were born. He knew you would be here during this crazy time of life in 2020, back when he created the world. He has had a plan and purpose for you ever since the beginning of time. He has your whole life written out in a special book, from beginning to end. Instead of complaining about how God made us or trying to change who he created us to be, we should do as the psalmist did and praise God for his wonderful works. You, my friend, are fearfully and wonderfully made. Each one of us are. It is time that we know that and accept that full well. I want to end on this note: I am pretty sure I covered this scripture last month but it is worth repeating. Ephesians 2:10 says, “For you are God’s masterpiece. He has created you anew in Christ Jesus, so you can do the good things he has planned for you long ago.” You are special. You are a masterpiece. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are created in God’s image. You have been given authority over all the other animals on this earth. You have been created to do great things. Are you ready to begin the bright journey that God has mapped out for you? 31

Orange Asian Chicken
Ingredients: 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts 4 cups steamed broccoli or green beans 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil Sauce: 2 cups orange juice 1/4 cup chicken broth 1/4 cup braggs amino acids (or soy sauce) 3 tablespoons honey 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 tablespoon fresh ginger 1 tablespoon orange zest 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions: 1. Heat the olive oil in a very large nonstick skillClean and cut chicken into 1 inch cubes. In a large pan, cook the chicken in the toasted sesame oil until the edges are brown and slightly crispy (Approx 5-10 minutes). 2. As the chicken is cooking, stir together the sauce mixture in a separate bowl. 3. Once the chicken is thoroughly cooked remove it from the pan and place it off to the side in a separate bowl. 4. Pour the sauce mixture into the same pan you cooked the chicken in. 5. Bring the sauce mixture to a boil for 15-20 minutes, stirring every minute or so until it starts to thicken. 6. When the sauce thickens, add the cooked chicken back in and stir to coat the chicken. 6. Serve over steamed broccoli or green beans and/ or rice/quinoa. Optional: Sprinkle with sesame seeds and enjoy!

CARROT & OAT COOKIES INGREDIENTS:
2 1/2 cups all-purpose gluten free flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. ground cloves 2 tsp. ground cinnamon 1 cup gluten free oats (not instant) 3/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1 cup coconut oil or 2 sticks butter, softened 2 large eggs 2 tsp. vanilla extract 2 cups grated carrot 3-4 carrots 1/2 cup flaked coconut 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat your oven to 350º F. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, cloves, cinnamon and oats. Mix well and set aside. With a mixer, beat together sugars and coconut oil in a large bowl. Add eggs and vanilla and beat at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add carrots, coconut and walnuts; blend until combined. Batter will be a little lumpy. Add the flour mixture and blend at a low speed until combined. No need to overmix. Drop onto ungreased cookie sheets and bake for 13-15 minutes. Don’t let them brown too much! Immediately transfer cookies to a cooling rack. Give them about 10 minutes to cool. Enjoy! 55

Extra Special By Arman Irani God has made us all unique and marvelous in our own ways. The things that we may personally see as flaws or rough edges God has allowed for on purpose to help us be molded and refined into the likeness of his son Jesus. Thankfully he loves us whether we make mistakes in our lives or not. It’s a love that most of us, including myself, sometimes feel is not even real… Why would God be so caring and loving to allow us the chance of redemption and freedom (speaking from a soul level)? I honestly do not know aside from the fact that he loves us just as he loves his own son and all the things that he created. “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners,” (Romans 5:8 NLT). Remember we are not here for status, fame, glory and riches otherwise the Bible would say attain all those things, forget about me, God. Drink yourselves drunk, worship whatever the flesh desires and don’t spread the message of the good news to sinners just like yourself. However our God asks us to do the exact opposite. As you may or may not already know we are at war, children of the light, against the darkness that imposes itself on us daily. We have already WON which is the great news, as our souls are not condemned to Hell. We are to be the light of the world and the unified body that does work to bring the Kingdom fame and glory. I remember myself growing up a non-christian, in fact a religion probably something most of you have never heard of, Zoroastrianism.. Then I studied and practiced Islam for a little bit, Buddhist philosphys, chakras and Hindu teachings & then into Santeria.. God knew the plan he had for me when I had no clue.. I honestly didn’t understand the gravity of the situation nor did I enjoy being around Christian people; they all seemed a bit odd to me. I’ve learned now that it is actually about a relationship with the creator and his Holy Spirit that allowed for great things to happen for Jesus in his lifetime

and will allow for similar things in our own lives. If we choose to embrace this Truth. For our loving creator allowed us to have free will in all that we do, even though he sees all, he will not stop us from making our choices. We must live with the consequences, good or bad. But if you read the book of Proverbs and understand that wisdom is a God given gift along with Faith you start to understand that living separate than how the world deems “cool” is not that bad after all. In fact, “ Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever,” (Daniel 12:3 NLT). I don’t know about you guys but when I die I want my life here to have been meant for something greater than myself, for a God that is greater than this world or the things in it could ever be! Check out what our God says about us, maybe one of these verses will reverberate with your spirit. “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5 NLT). “ And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.” (Luke 12:7 NLT). “What is the price of two sparrows—one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.” (Matthew 10:29-31 NLT). So Dauntless Men, I hope you are all feeling extra Special now for our God is a great God and he deserves all the glory and praise forever and ever. Amen.

DAUN LESS Hope this month is going well for you. I just wanted to encourage you to remain in God’s will. Even if you have backslidden or gone off the narrow path there is still hope to get right with Abba. He loves you more than you can imagine. We will never even fully understand this until we die, but at least when we go out we know who will be there to embrace us. Don’t let the world’s wisdom fool you into thinking what is right/wrong. It has and always will be God’s Righteousness and his judgement that allows for the eternal choice for your soul. The great news is, he has already given you the bridge to eternal life thanks to his son Jesus Christ! So brothers I pray and hope that Elohiem continues to show himself ever present in your life and shine on your circumstances. I pray that when things aren’t going so great you remind yourself who is the true King and who created you for a purpose. Our human wisdom is finite and ever changing but God’s is eternal and infinite. Stick with the Alpha and the Omega and stay blessed forever. Blessings for you and your families.
