Do away the funky winter blues and add some feel good smiles. This week is the deadline to sign up for our Public Policy Conference at the state Capitol. This includes training in the morning with Joe Gagnon followed by lunch and then we head off to visit with our elected officials. We are pushing for House Bill 2606 that would require insurance companies to give people at least 60 days notice before changing the cost of medications. If you can't join us on Feb 21st at least take the time to call your elected officials and ask them to support this bill. Don't forget that our MS walk at the OKC Zoo is on May 5th. We are making a few changes as we continue to grow so hopefully the flow will go a little easier. We are also adding an MS Expo where we will hopefully have lots of different vendors. Come enjoy the walk and then spend as much time as you want enjoying our beautiful zoo. I sadly report that Dr. John Boland passed away this week. A memorial service will be held for him Friday, Feb 17th at 1 PM at Westminister Presbyterian Church at 44th and Shartell.
