Interesting and fascinating. You are here. We talk. We talk about ideas. We talk about schedules. You have a doubt that you have never worked with kids before. I say it's ok. What you bring with you is positive energy. We need it. Our kids need it.

Your first class is over. You return brimming with confidence. With a joy that only happens when the giver becomes the receiver... And the relationship begins. A year goes by and another and yet another. You meet like-minded people like you. You form a bond amongst yourselves. From ‘me’ you become ‘us’. From a stranger you become an adviser, a mentor, a friend. You belong. You have added responsibilities. Work, professional. personal. You take a break. We are still connected with our thoughts. Because you are always only a phone call away. You return. Inspiration renewed. Fresh ideas. Fresh perspective. And the cycle of volunteering continues.

It has been fourteen years. ACT has sustained only because of volunteers like you. Your commitment, your dedication, your creativity is our inspiration. You are as old as 75 years ... as young as 15.
