Così il progetto è stato attivato, partendo da una serie di progetti di arredo per la “Stanza Alzheimer” alla cui elaborazione hanno partecipato l’intera équipe operante nel “Nucleo progetto Alzheimer” e l’arch. De Paoli Nicola, che saranno sottoposti alla verifica da parte della ditta Morelato per la realizzazione di una serie di prototipi. Una bella impresa! Anche perché le opere sono molte: letti singoli, comodini, sedie, tavolino, scrittoio, tavolo da toilette, armadio a muro, attaccapanni a muro, settimanale, comò “vertico”, specchio a muro “a scomparsa”, poltrona. Ma al numero delle opere si aggiunge tutta una serie di particolari accorgimenti nel realizzare detti mobili. Di fatto questi ultimi devono soddisfare esigenze “particolari” e avranno quindi cassetti che si aprono solo in parte, zone del mobile inaccessibili ai malati, forme e decori capaci di evocare e di rassicurare il malato. Un progetto complesso che solo la capacità di un’azienda che ha da sempre esplorato diverse tipologie, stili e uso di materiali tradizionali può affrontare con successo. La Fondazione Aldo Morelato, con questa iniziativa, conferma la sua attitudine come centro di ricerca e di valorizzazione del mobile, anche e soprattutto relativamente al proprio territorio.

In such a way the project was activated, starting from a series of furnishing projects for the “Alzheimer Room” whose drawing up has been attended also by the entire team working in the “Alzheimer project group” and by architect De Paoli Nicola, which will be submitted to the test by the Morelato company for the execution of a series of prototypes. A beautiful venture! Also because the works to do are many: single beds, bedside tables, chairs, small tables, writing desk, toilette table, fitted cupboard, fitted clothes hook, chest of drawers, “vertico” drawers, fitted mirror that can be hidden, armchair. Besides the number of the works, a series of particular measures is needed in realizing the above said furniture. In fact the latter have to satisfy “particular” needs and therefore will have drawers which open only partly, furniture zone inaccessible to the patients, shapes and decorations capable of evoking and comforting the patient. A complex project only the skill of a company which has always explored various typologies, styles and use of traditional materials can face successfully. The Aldo Morelato Foundation, with this initiative, confirm its aptitude as furniture research and exploitation centre, also and above all with reference to their territory.
vivi la casa La nuova edizione di “Vivi la casa”, interamente dedicata all’arredamento della casa e ai servizi matrimoniali, che si è tenuta presso la Fiera di Verona, ha visto la presenza della Morelato s.r.l. La struttura della manifestazione si è basata su una formula innovativa utilizzando argomentazioni tematiche piuttosto che merceologiche come: Moderno&Design, Abitare la tradizione, Restauro-Antiquariato, Domotica, Bioabitare, Tuttocasa. Alle varie aree tematiche si sono aggiunti due interessanti concorsi rivolti al mondo progettuale e produttivo dell’area veronese. Morelato era presente con una selezione molto rappresentativa della sua produzione: oggetti classici, oggetti di ricerca all’interno delle varie proposte di riedizioni e opere più vicine alla nostra contemporaneità.
VIVI LA CASA (A HOUSE TO LIVE) The new edition of “Vivi la casa”, wholly dedicated to the house furnishing and the wedding services, which was held at Verona Fair, saw the attendance of Morelato. The event’s organization was based on an innovative formula utilizing reasoning thematic rather than pertaining to the technology of commerce: Modern&Design, Living in the tradition, Restoration-Antique-dealing, Domotics, Bio-living, Everything for the house. Besides the several thematic subjects were announced two interesting contests destined to the design and production world of the province of Verona. Morelato was present with a very representative selection of its production: classical objects, research objects within the several proposals of new editions and works closer to our modern way of thinking.
