Je pense que Sergio Layos est l’une des personnes les plus spéciales et humbles que je connaisse dans le milieu du BMX. Il est connu mondialement pour son style qui est désormais devenu une référence pour beaucoup. Je l’ai rencontré il y a plusieurs années, en octobre 2006, pour un shooting à Florence pendant Pitti Immagine, un salon de mode. Les années qui ont suivi, nous nous sommes vus à nouveau pour des évènements, des shootings de marques et cela a toujours été un plaisir de passer du temps avec lui grâce à son humilité, sa sincérité et sa simplicité. La dernière fois que je l’ai vu, c’était pour son projet, RB Métro Pipe à Madrid, un park dans un métro, un rêve qui est devenu réalité. J’ai passé le weekend à Madrid pour l’évènement, puis on s’est rendu immédiatement dans sa maison à Majadahonda, à environ 35 minutes de Madrid avec le Texan Joseph Frans qui faisait un stop chez Sergio avant d’aller à la Simpel Session.
I think Sergio Layos is one of the most special and humble person that I acquainted over the years in the BMX world. He is known worldwide for his smooth style becoming a reference for many. I met him several years ago, in October of 2006, for a shooting in Florence during Pitti Immagine, fashion. Then over the years we met again for events, shooting of brands and has always been a great pleasure to spend time together for his humility, sincerity and simplicity. The last occasion was for his idea, RedBull Metro Pipe in Madrid (Spain), a park in a subway, a dream come true. Spent the weekend in Madrid for the event, we immediately moved to his home in Majadahonda, about 35 minutes from Madrid, with the Texan Joseph Frans who stopped by Sergio to restart then with destination Simpel Session.
