Erwin, parmi les trois riders ici, tu es le plus ancien dans le sport. Est-ce que tu considères que le flat au Paraguay est en train de se stabiliser malgré les hauts et bas dont il a pu souffrir auparavant ? Je pense qu’il est sur la bonne voie, on essaye tous de s’en occuper. Le flat est dans notre sang et je suis sûr que ça ne changera jamais. Les nouveaux riders injectent de l’adrénaline ce qui renouvelle complètement notre scène en dépit des hauts et des bas qu’on a l’habitude d’avoir. Edgar, comment relis-tu ton travail d’aérographe avec le flat ? Cette relation est très bonne. J’adore customiser le bike de tout le monde à ma façon. C’est comme donner une nouvelle vie ou encore habiller notre vélo. Combiner mon travail artistique avec le flat est très satisfaisant pour moi. Je fais aussi quelques publicités car les gens voient le design de mon travail, me demande qui l’a réalisé et cela m’ouvre donc beaucoup de portes. Avez-vous un message pour le reste des riders d’Amérique Latine ou du monde en général ? Celso : J’aime réellement le flat, ce magnifique sport m’a apporté énormément d’amis. Apprendre à connaître les riders qui ont le même style de vie, les voir pendant le weekend aux spots, rider avec, partager les nouveaux tricks et expériences et prendre des photos reflétant la beauté du moment vécu sont les choses qui font que vous ne cessez jamais ce sport. Erwin : J’aimerais dire aux riders d’Amérique Latine que l’on doit continuer tous ensemble afin de soutenir et diriger ce sport au plus haut niveau malgré les difficultés auxquelles nous sommes confrontés, ensemble nous le pouvons. Le Flatland est vivant et plus fort en Amérique Latine. Edgar : Mon message serait de faire réaliser aux gens qu’au Paraguay existe une scène Flatland. Nous sommes peu nombreux mais nous sommes fiers de faire partie de cette famille et l’on espère qu’un jour on se réunira tous autre part que sur Internet. Quelqu’un que vous aimeriez remercier ? I think it is on track; we all make the effort to carry it forward. The flatland is in our blood and I’m sure it will not stop. The new riders inject adrenaline that constantly renews our scene, despite the ups and downs that we used to have. Edgar, how do you relate your airbrush work with flatland? The relationship is very good; I love customizing everyone’s bikes in their own way. It’s like giving life or put new clothes on the bikes. Using my artwork for flatland is very satisfying for me. I also do some advertising because people see a striking design and ask me who did it and it opens many doors in employment for me. Do you have a message for the rest of Latin-American riders or the world in general? Celso : I really love flatland; this beautiful sport has given me lots of friends. Getting to know riders that have the same lifestyle, meeting on weekends at the spot to ride with friends and share new tricks and experiences, and taking pictures that reflect that beautiful moment lived, are things that make you never leave the sport. Erwin : I want to tell all Latin American riders that we have to continue together supporting and leading our sport at the highest level despite all the difficult times we are exposed to, together we can. Flatland is alive and stronger in Latin America. Edgar : My message would be that people realize that in Paraguay we have a strong flatland scene. We are only a few, but we are proud to be part of this family and hopefully one day we can make a big meeting where we will meet beyond the web. Someone you’d like to thank?
