About Sophia’s Diary (www.sophias-diary.com) is a one-stop website that specialises in promoting children’s (and family) activities and services in the boroughs of Enfield and Barnet. We promote children’s groups and classes, places to go, relevant community news and local events. Information is tailored, up-to date and easily accessible for local parents. Parents can find reputable and local contacts for everything they need in the directory. Our unique Discount Card is the only one that can be used in multiple establishments in Enfield and Barnet. It is available via the website and will be included in our new printed, Sophia’s Diary What’s on for Families Guide. The Sophia’s Diary What’s On For Families Guide is a printed version of child and family-related services and activities. Parents will be encouraged to keep and refer back to the guide when they are looking for something. Our business members’ visibility will be boosted using this new channel.

Why
Sophia’s Diary is a fantastic advertising platform for businesses that want to reach parents with young children in North London and Surrounding areas. Our content is child and family orientated. Website users reached 32,000 in 2019. Business membership prices are affordable and competitive, enabling businesses to make a good return on their investment from the leads generated.

Sophia’s Diary is looking for sponsors that have a good reputation, a desire to build good links with the local community, and are perceived as family-friendly organisations. • Why become a sponsor? Sophia’s Diary is a useful resource, rich in content and information that is widely used by local families. We pride ourselves on the fact that prices are affordable for very small businesses to join, so they can make a good return on investment easily. We prefer not to increase the subscription fee to small businesses, so the help of a sponsor is appreciated. Sophia’s Diary operates as a sole trader and requires more financial resources. We are determined to deliver more and sponsorship will help us produce content that is important to children and families in the community. • Event Sponsor: £200 for each event (two sponsors per event) Sophia’s Diary hosts free events for business members to meet every four to six weeks. We believe it is important for business members to meet, talk, form relationships and help each other. This has resulted in collaborations and numerous positive connections. This sponsorship option is ideal for a business that would like to meet and develop relationships with small local enterprises. Sponsor benefits: • The sponsor will be given allocated time to talk about their business, what they do and how they can work with other businesses at each event. • Your event banner will be exhibited at the event. • Promotional materials will be distributed at each event. • Opportunities to connect with the 200 businesses and organisations on Sophia’s Diary. Our social media posts and event invitations will have the sponsor’s logo and name present.
• Awards Night Sponsor £2,000 Our first Awards Night was held on 5 October 2018. Voting closed on 28th September and over 11,000 people voted for their favourite local business. More than 120 local businesses and organisations booked tickets for the Awards Ceremony, including the local press. Video marketing was used to support members with their voting campaign. Sophia’s Diary gained strong exposure, as members and the community were shared the voting link on our website. Email campaigns and promotional materials were created by some members. Sponsor benefits: • Your banner is displayed at the awards night. • Business name and logo appears on the voting form. • Logo appears on the invite, social media posts and our email marketing for the awards.

Sponsorship Packages • Sophia’s Diary Discount Card Sponsor £2,000 We launched a discount card in September 2017. This is the only one in the area. The purpose of the card is to help families save money, and to promote spending with businesses in the area and gives holders access to more than 50 offers. A proportion of the income from sponsorship will be invested to implement more in marketing the card. Sponsor Benefits: • Our sponsor’s logo will be the on the discount card. • All discount card social media posts will feature the sponsor’s name and logo present. • The sponsor’s logo will be present on the discount page. • Recognition as a business that actively encourages people to spend money with local providers.

• Official Sponsor: £3,000 An official sponsor must be a business wanting to target local families. They must be passionate about having a positive presence within the local community. Becoming a sponsor will be a fantastic opportunity for a business that gains new business from internet marketing and social media. They will be introduced to users and business members and appreciated enormously. Sponsor benefits: A professional video interview will be arranged, and posted on the website and on social media. An onsite visit and write-up will be arranged shortly after sponsorship begins.
