Enfield Town Schools’ Partnership The Enfield Town Schools’ Partnership (ETSP) is an exciting alliance of 20 richly diverse schools in Enfield. We work together to ensure our pupils experience an excellent, broad and balanced education. Our pupils have engaged in projects creating and exhibiting original artworks, writing and performing poetry, participating in outdoor activity days to support the transition to secondary and exploring the world of science. We have worked with professional poets, artists and scientists to ensure pupils get the most from these projects and delivered these events in local venues including Forty Hall Estate, the Dugdale Centre and Chace Community School. We encourage our pupils to think about the world we live in and how they can become the global citizens of the future. Debating competitions have promoted discussion about topical issues and encouraged independent opinion and persuasive arguments. This year we challenged our Primary pupils in our first ever ETSP Spelling Bee and were astounded by pupils’ capability. 76

We don’t just support our pupils. We also offer accredited training and workshops to our parents, carers and their families to help take their employment and educational opportunities further. In 2018 we were awarded the Workers’ Educational Association (WEA) Regional Partner award in recognition of our commitment to raising education aspirations within our community.
