NOT JUST QUITE BLACK & WHITE If there was any interest in categorize Thomas Weiler’s work, or it’s style, I would refuse to do it because his work can be easily transversal to photography in itself. People who watch this book can easily spot his multi style, always adapted to the situation or theme he presents. More than that, Weiler takes pictures with love. Yes, it’s love, nothing more, nothing less and it shows on all the careful on the details and the edit specs on every single photo here presented. From the immaculate framework on the Architecture section until the truth humanitarian look at the Street Photography section, Thomas nails it and can eventually leave us on a position of a very healthy and positive compromise with his work. I confess I love it. Like many of us, that truly loves photography, Thomas Weiler has a story for each capture. The whole of them are not Thomas Weiler’s imaginary but his experiences, his memories, and his look into the future, at the same time. The truth is, Thomas Weiler lived and captured all this moments just for us, for all of us. He keeps the memories; we win the beauty of what those memories give birth to. As far as I am concerned, I am thankful, not only to publish this book, but also to can be a live witness of Thomas’s photographic work.
