she loves LONGWEAR I like to be well manicured, so I have my nails done at the salon quite regularly. I usually just go for a manicure, sometimes with a bright nail polish colour at the end. I like to keep my natural nails as they are. I used to have soak off gel polish but it made my own nails weak and I feel it is a lot of upkeep and maintenance. Pick up the Nail Flakes out of the small jar with a Graffiti Brush Medium and dap it gently onto the cured nail colour. Try not to rub it! Place the Triangular Nail Art plate underneath to catch any excess nail flakes. Cure it once more for a few seconds. 3. To finish, apply Crystal Seal and cure.

GEOMETRIC FADING GET THE LOOK

1. Divide the nail vertically in two by drawing a thin line with Gellak n° 207 Ain’t Yo Mama using your Slim Nail Art Brush n° 1. Divide these two part in two again by adding two more lines and let it cure. 2. Divide the nail now horizontally in two parts by drawing a thin line with Gellak n° 207 Ain’t Yo Mama using the same brush. Create small diamonds in the same colour with the aid of the lines. Let it cure. 3. Mix Gellak n° 207 Ain’t Yo Mama with Gellak n° 71 Bianchissimo in your Gel Paint book to create a lighter shade. 4. Use this lighter shade to create two rows of smaller diamonds above and below the first diamonds and let it cure. 5. Mix the lighter shade again with Gellak n° 71 Bianchissimo to create an even lighter shade and repeat this process. Let it cure after each row. 6. To Finish, apply Crystal Seal and let it cure. Continue with the other nails by using a different colour for each nail. Use Gellak n° 213 Victory Lap, Gellak n° 215 I Did It On Purplose and Gellak n° 217 A Better Blue.

1. Apply two layers of Gellak n° 219 EclecChic with your Gelinsky Premium Brush n° 7 and cure each layer. 2. Create the big flower with Gel Paint White Canvas and the One Stroke Brush Off Cut n° 4. Start with the outside flower petals and fill it with the flower heart, using the One Stroke technique. Continue with the smaller flower with Gel Paint Lady Lilac and the One Stroke Brush Off Cut n° 4. Cure. 3. Now cover the white flower with Gel paint Red expression using the same technique and cure again. 4. Add some contours and shadows to the heart of the big flower as well as to the little flower with Gel paint Nocturnal Animal using your Slim Nail Art Brush n°1, and cure. 5. Mix Gel Paint Red Expression and Gel Paint White Canvas in the tray of your Gel Paint Book. Use this colour to accentuate the petals of the big flower. Do this with the One Stroke Brush Off Cut n° 4 using the One Stroke-technique. Do the same for the little flower with a mixture of Gel Paint Lady Lilac and Gel Paint White Canvas. Cure this layer. 6. Add some highlights to the flower petals with Gel Paint white Canvas, again with the One Stroke technique, and cure. 7. ANALYSE Analyse the specific situation of each client. Don’t just consider what you see but ask about your client’s background. What’s your client’s job? Does he or she have regular contact with sunlight, uv-light, chemical products, heat or cold,… ? Ask also about her or his current beauty rituals and try to find the cause behind possible problems.

ADVISE Based on your analysis, dispense a tailor made advice with adequate solutions and treatment program. Make sure to offer several options your client can choose from.

DEMONSTRATE Use the beauty products during your treatment and talk your client through the process. Make them experience the product by just applying it on one hand and feeling the real difference with the other.

MEMORIZE Know the three main reasons why you would recommend this product.

TAKE CARE Don’t look at yourself as a sales shark but rather as someone who cares for her client and provides adequate solutions for her or his problems. This is a treatment like any other treatment you provide in your salon. Trust us, your customer will thank you for it.

What’s your secret to success? How do you sell so easily? Actually, I don’t really have a secret… These products sell themselves, that’s how good they are! What I can say is that clients buy something more easily once they’ve tried it. I got 3 boxes of the Holiday Gift Hand Creams and gave them to my clients (I must admit I was a bit enthousiastic), and my clients just loved it!
