WITH HAND AND HEART Every rug from TISCA is a handcrafted masterpiece. For more than 50 years we have been inspired by the traditional skill of weaving and have continued to develop it further. Thus we have managed to unite tried and tested craftsmanship with modern design. Our collection which comprises 96 colours and 26 structures provides endless variations of models for an individual atmosphere. Experienced weavers only process wool of the highest quality which comes predominantly from New Zealand. Not without reason do TISCA products enhance the living spaces of those who appreciate fine craftsmanship made to last.

DURABILITY FOR GENERATIONS The man who practices his craft where he also lives with his wife and three wild boys needs a home which is durable. Formerly used as a bathhouse, holiday home, tailor’s shop and inn, the current owner’s grandfather already worked on the 300-year-old building. The grandson has continued this work and renovated the whole of the house. Craftsmanship which is made to last is simply appreciated here. This permeates the whole - right down to the rug. The Olbia Uni is just the thing for such a house: It can stand a lot, is easy to care for and provides a pleasant interior climate. The natural felted pure new wool „breathes“ taking humidity in and expelling it and is outstanding for its pronounced resilience.

The Olbia Karibu is compatible with lively structures on walls and floors without upstaging the room. The reversible rug harmonizes with its surroundings in every respect. As with all rugs from Tisca we weave this model in any size up to six metres in width and twenty metres in length. Special shapes such as round, oval, rectangular or polygonal are possible: hence everyone can find a suitable rug for their own living space.
BEAUTY FOR AFICIONADOS It is a prime example of Vorarlberg building culture with late baroque shingle façade, antique furniture, objet d’art and exclusive rugs: the more than 250-year-old Hirschen Inn at the heart of the Bregenz Forest. Surrounded by the idyllic mountain landscape there could not be a more suitable setting for our Olbia collection. The Olbia Barrio with its discreetly undulating yarn structure nestles in soft green on the tradition-steeped floor. The handwoven rug is capable of more however: the model is available in 96 different colours and extremely hard-wearing.

The Olbia Monte already bears its own small mountain landscape in its name. In deep blue – or any other colour from our range – this model always provides special touches to living spaces. The variety of shapes from round and oval to angular is unlimited.

HANDCRAFTED FOR THE CREATIVE They live and work in a house made of wood. The glass faรงade opens the view to the outside; as well as to the inside - both of them an inspiration. Your furniture and home accessories are handcrafted from high-quality natural materials. Such as the woollen rug from Tisca which lends the modern house its homely atmosphere. Woven from pure new wool from New Zealand, the Olbia Stella captivates by its adaptable visual apparance. Sometimes it is unusual; at others sophisticated. For the time-consuming weaving technique the skilled weavers carefully lay individual woollen yarns with two different thicknesses in the woven piece. The colours of the two yarns used can be combined at will.
