AIGA : redesign project

AIGA

AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF GRAPHIC ARTS

The newly modified AIGA logo does not seem to quite capture the essence, the attention to detail and the level of design for that which it was created to serve. AIGA’s purpose is to actively communicate the value (and examples) of design to the business community and the public. My goal is to attempt to enhance the image so that it looks classical, yet contemporary; simple, yet with a graphic twist; commanding, yet displays strength in a calm, astute manner.

Logos for Elementary, Middle School/Junior High

junior AIGA AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF GRAPHIC ARTS

These logos would represent AIGA’s commitment to the teaching of design to students (and staff) as early as elementary school so they will have an ingrained sense of good design that will carry/lead them throughout the rest of their high school, college and career days.
