When you think of Women of More, you think of resilient women whose cups are overflowing with gifts to share with the world. This statement is certainly true for Natalyn Randle, the 57-year-old business mogul responsible for creating countless opportunities for businesswomen of color around the globe. As the CEO and Founder of Black Business Women Rock (BBWR) and Ease on Down the Road Home Improvement Referral Service, Randle exemplifies the essence a businesswoman who rocks for all the right reasons. While most wouldn’t dare reinvent the wheel after working for the same company for 30 years, Randle decided to take the road less traveled when she retired from her career with AT&T. In a dire quest to live out her purpose, Randle acquired her real estate license and eventually gave birth to her home improvement company in 2007. Similar to her first business, Randle was remodeling and reconstructing her life inside out. Randle says the key to ditching the daytime monotony and exploring the idea of full-time entrepreneurship took lots of prayer and meditation. “Taking a leap of faith and believing in God to lead and guide me opened up many doors of opportunities,” Randle said. “Quiet time, meditation and forgiveness were the key components I needed to move forward on my spiritual journey,” she added. As she gained momentum, she also began to fall in love with interior design and the satisfaction of providing her clients with a fresh start. Soon, Randle’s passion to serve, connect and transform lives led to the concept of BBWR. The very first event was held within the confines of her own backyard in September 2011. Today, BBWR now boasts thousands of conference attendees, micro-events, an online business directory, and a robust digital platform that allows women to connect with key resources needed to take their businesses to the next level. And if you’re wondering how to start or where to begin, Randle says there are just a few steps that can take you from stagnancy to success. As a huge proponent of interconnect and self-love, Randle says women must first learn to connect with whom they are. From there, Randle says its all a matter of believing in you, having faith and doing the work. “Be prepared for whatever situation may come your way,” Randle said. “Take your time, evaluate what you really want to do and go step by step. Get as many resources you can and a team that believes in you,” she continued. LA BELLE | PAGE 03

Business Mogul Natalyn Randle Takes Empire Straight to the Top Written by Brittany K. Jackson Randle has been featured in various publications for her exceptional work for women across the globe such as the Wave, the Sentinel, and LA Watts Times Newspapers. Recently, Randle received the Trailblazers Award from She Smiles Inc. for “Paving the Way for Women”. Randle has also authored her first book, “Behind the Scenes to Greatness! Lessons and Blessings on My Purpose Journey.” And Randle doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon. The creative entrepreneur recently launched a new guided workbook called “Keys To Event Planning: She Works Her Strategy” for female entrepreneurs looking to turn their passion for event planning into a sizeable profit. Randle has also taken her two daughters Kawai Matthews and Kanesha Matthews along for the ride. While Kawai serves as the marketing mastermind behind all of Randle’s digital media, Kanesha works her managerial magic behind the scenes to ensure Randle’s events and communications flow seamlessly. We all know the saying that many are called and only a few are chosen, but Natalyn Randle is both called, chosen and happens to carry a heart of gold, too.
