FILET - Summer’s arrival brings a slew of sounds with various music festivals on tap. Stomp your boots to some of country’s hottest acts at Hwy 30 Music Fest (June 21-24) at the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds. Gordy’s Hwy 30 Music Fest came to be as a fundraiser for a local school. Since its start, proceeds from the event have given back to the community by creating a scholarship fund to help families in need of our assistance. Open to anybody in Kindergarten through 12th Grade, the “Hwy 30 Scholarship” is worth $1000, and will be awarded to three deserving students for use at the College of Southern Idaho.

This year’s lineup features country icons like Ray Wylie Hubbard and the Turnpike Troubadours to breakout stars like Kolby Cooper and Lainey Wilson, who just won ACM New Female Artist and Song of the Year. GARDEN CITY - Ludacris headlines this year’s Boise Music Festival (June 24), which also features an impressive lineup of artists across the country, pop and soul genres.
