Popcorn Festival

Celebrating one of Harrison County’s biggest agricultural products & Indiana’s official state snack –POPCORN!

CORYDON – The annual celebration of popcorn will take place in downtown Corydon June 30 – July 1. The Harrison County Popcorn Festival features live music, fireworks, kids’ activities, vendors, a beer garden, cornhole tournament, recipe contest, parade, and of course, the popcorn “sprayer” truck that showers the street with actual local popcorn!

Festivities will begin at 4pm and end at 10pm on Friday June 30, and resume at 10am on Saturday July 1st. A cruise-in car show will fill the streets of downtown on Saturday. The festival will close with a firework display that will be visible throughout downtown Corydon.

Originally established in 1986, the Popcorn Festival celebrated the area’s popcorn industry – 10% of the nation’s popcorn is produced in Harrison County across over 20 farming operations. The annual festival dissolved in the early 2000’s, but made its return to Corydon in 2022, thanks to local groups and volunteers.
