If everyone in our congregation invites 4 people a year to come to church, our weekly worship attendance could grow by 25% in four years! And always remember to be praying for the people you invite.

We have positions available for Greeters, Lobby Guides, Guest Information, Welcome Center, Café Hosts, and Refreshment Coordinators. Short-term Groups

Covenant Bible Study Covenant is an in-depth Bible study centering on God’s covenant–an enduring commitment between God and people as a unifying pattern throughout the Bible. This 24 week study of the entire Bible (from Genesis to Revelation) is divided into three 8-week sessions (must be taken in order): CREATING: Examines how the Covenant community is created and established. LIVING: Focuses on how the community lives out their Covenant in faithful love—how it’s applied to actual relationships in everyday life. TRUSTING: Looks at the crises that sometimes call Covenant life into question, and how we are restored to trust in God when troubling things happen. Using both the Old and New Testament in each session, we will study, fellowship and pray together. A workbook ($20 per session) and daily Bible reading are required. This semester we will be offering Covenant 1 twice and Covenant 2 once. Classroom teachers include music daily with songs, finger plays and movement activities. • Specialized Learning Centers – Sensory tables, block building, games, puzzles and manipulatives. • Gross Motor Play – Regularly scheduled outdoor play, plus a gym for inclement weather. Separate playgrounds for toddlers & 2s and 3s, 4s & Pre-K.

This is a worship experience that is stripped-down and contemplative. There are elements of silence, responsive readings, art elements, and more. This isn’t a place for folks with all of the answers but a place for us to take a pause from the week & connect with the Lover of Our Souls. Questions? Contact Ray McKinnon at rmckinnon@ucumc.org.

Spiritual Gifts Assessment Are you still scratching your head wondering, “Where will I fit here at UCUMC; what are my spiritual gifts?”? If so, take a few minutes to take an online Spiritual Gifts Assessment. Our Spiritual Gifts test is designed to help you find joy in serving and discover more about how God has made you.
