THE LION'S DEN Gold Coast Touch Tanglin Touch Teams competed in the All schools Touch Tournament, Gold Coast AUS. This was a year of firsts for the school. First year for taking 3 teams U13, U15 and U18 and the first year a Tanglin Touch team got out of the pool round. Congratulations to all 3 teams on their performance and development over the course of the week, but a special mention must go to the U15 Team who topped their pool. The highlight of the tournament was Tanglin Lions U15 beating Chancellor in a nail biting game, finishing 2-0 victors. Well done!

THE LION'S DEN Schools Netball Super League Tanglin Trust School, in collaboration with Dulwich College SG and Australian International School, were delighted to create a new School Netball Super League for our 19&U ‘A’ Teams. The league will run for the duration of 15 weeks. The purpose of the Super League is to provide high-level Netball competition involving a breadth of schools and Junior Colleges. The league is played in a round-robin format, and following schools and Junior Colleges have entered: Anglo Chinese Junior College (19&U) Eunoia Junior College (19&U) Australian International School Dulwich College Singapore Victoria Junior College Our Tanglin netballers have made a fantastic start to this league with a squad of new players (many of our players graduating last year) and have currently played two tightly contested matches against Dulwich and Eunioa Junior College so far this term resulting with one loss and one win. The standard of competition is extremely high, this makes this new league very exciting to compete in and spectate. We wish our players lots of luck for their remaining matches. Well done Tanglin Lions!

THE LION'S DEN International School Climbing League Tanglin hosted the first round of the Up Cup, with visiting climbers taking part in 4 events last weekend. The Tanglin students, as the hosts, were responsible for belaying, judging, timing, scoring, and guiding the visiting competitors. This year not only did the Tanglin Climbing Club run the event on the day but many of the students volunteered to set routes across our Top Rope and Boulder events, these activities saw students staying at school until after 1900 moving holds and trying to create challenging moves for the competitors. The level of dedication seen from our climbers was excellent and led to fantastic outcomes on the day. The next round is being hosted at UWCEast where the Tanglin Climbing Club will go to compete for the first time on their top ropes walls.

THE LION'S DEN Young Lions - Athletic Development PE Lessons Our Year 6 students have been showcasing their athletic skills in our Young Lions Combine as a culmination of their athletic development PE lessons. Conducted as part of our broader long-term athletic development program to promote consistent age-specific training to help students grow as athletes over time and potentially lead to opportunities in competitive sport, improved physical fitness, and overall well-being. The combine tested student's speed, agility, power and endurance, giving the students valuable feedback on their strengths and areas for improvement.
