Winter Alert

Winter is not exactly the high season for Vespa pilots and scooterists. Actually, it‘s the time when you wish you had a heated, well-equipped workshop where you can get your favourites in shape for spring. A place to dream of the first rays of sunshine and warm temperatures.

The cold beer tastes good in the warm workshop, a glance outside shows: it‘s been snowing for hours. Spring still seems a long way off. But wait a minute, can‘t you do something with all that white splendour? Snowboarding, sure. But what if the lifts are all closed? Then we‘ll just build our own lift, the Vespa certainly has enough power. Only the tyres need more grip. Can you add spikes to a Vespa tyre? Sure, there are screw-on spikes for that. Add a sturdy knobbly tyre and the entertainment can begin! Most of the time, the obviously pointless projects are even more fun... The screw-in spikes are screwed into the thick blocks with a cordless screwdriver. This is how front and rear tyres are prepared. Outside it has stopped snowing, time for a test ride!

The thick studded tyres on the Vespa equipped with the screw spikes provide traction on ice and snow. If you have a friend with a snowboard and a few metres of rope, there are no limits to your imagination. We let off steam in the winter fairytale until it got dark.

THIS IS HOW WINTER LOSES ITS TERROR AND OPENS UP COMPLETELY NEW PERSPECTIVES. WE HAVE CERTAINLY NOT BEEN HIBERNATING UNTIL SPRING ARRIVES!
