Verify The Efficiency Of Engine Tuning And Performance

The app has a nice side feature: finally you can objectively check the effectiveness of engine tuning work such as adjusting the ignition, changing the carburetor setting, different exhaust system, etc.. You don‘t see absolute performance in the Quartermile app but by comparing before and after you can judge very well which engine changes have a positive effect. Almost a small pocket dynamometer.

Quartermile.App is made to support a wide range of vehicles - whether they have two, four or eight wheels. As long as it drives and your iPhone has GPS reception, you can use Quartermile.App for recording. With the free version, you can test all modes with default values! With our one-time in-app purchase you unlock all other values.

Please remember to obey the traffic laws and other applicable laws and to use the Quartermile.App only on restricted areas, in compliance with the laws and rules applicable there.

NOTE: We have noticed that on older devices the values differ more than on new iPhones. This is only a difference of a few meters, but we would still like to inform you about it, should you be surprised. We are also working on improvements in data accuracy by addressing all of the iPhone‘s sensors. This data is filtered and constantly improved. Other tech- niques using OBD2 and external GPS antennas are under development and testing. All updates and improvements will of course be free of charge.
