Matteo Silverio

Architect, enthusiastic designer and technology lover Matteo is an Italian architect interested in understanding how technology can change the way we design and build things. During his 6+ years of professional experience he has collaborated with several international renewed offices, performing a lead design and project management role on various innovative projects, managing team members, consultants and clients. He has been involved in top-projects such as the Baku National Library (A.I. Progetti), the project of 28 schools in Istanbul (Altieri), and the proposal for the Sustainability Pavilion for the Dubai Expo (CRA). Beyond his professional practice, he fosters his interest on technologies and new design paradigms, supporting teaching activities and promoting independent researches and workshops. In 2009, while at university he collaborated with Yona Friedman to organize the workshop “VENICE. Make a credible city”, and in 2016 he was seminar faculty at IAAC.
