MULTIGENERATIONAL PROGRAMS, CLINICS & LEAGUES Various Ages

Flagstaff Archery League Test your archery skills in this 8 week 3D archery league. Perfect for hunters, hobbyists, and everyone in between, this league is a great way to have fun, meet new people, and better yourself as an archer. Each week you will be playing with another team as you compete to be the team with the best score at the end of the league. Age

The Basics of Canning Learn the basics of canning in this short clinic. More specifically, participants will learn a brief history of canning, what tools you need to can, and canning safety. Afterwards you will see the process unfold and be able to ask any questions that our Master Gardener, Willa McAuliffe, can answer! She also provides you with notes and some good recipes to send you on your way. You don't want to miss this great opportunity! Min/Max: 5/15 Age

ADULT PROGRAMS, CLINICS & EVENTS 18 & Older Nature Photography In Nature Photography, participants will spend 6 weeks honing their skills by expanding their knowledge in: understanding natural light; finding creative uses of natural light; learning basic compositional skills and how to arrange composition; discovering the structural elements of photography design; theory and history of the photography art; what supplies are necessary when photographing the outdoors, and will have a lot of fun doing it! Summer Send-Off Dodgeball Tournament Say goodbye to summer and join us for a one-day, double elimination CO-ED dodgeball tournament. Teams consist of 6 players total - 5 on the court and 1 sub. All teams must have at least 1 female on the court at all times. Guaranteed at least 3 games. Trophies will be awarded to the champions. Costumes and funny attire are encouraged! Min/Max (Teams): 6/32. Age

Outdoor Adventure Summer Day Camp Remember the old days when kids went outside and explored? Bring those days back and register your child for the Outdoor Adventure Summer Day Camp. Sign up for all of Session 1 (June 9 - July 3) for only $505, a savings of $30 / Session 2 (July 7 - August 1) for $520, a savings of $40! Each Session repeats the same theme weeks and has similar activities and field trips. Financial Assistance is available. Go to coconino.az.gov/RecPrograms to learn more. Weekly Min/Max: 8/20. Age

PROGRAM POLICIES Americans with Disabilities (ADA) Coconino County strives to make all programs, services and facilities accessible to, useable by and available to qualified individuals with disabilities. It is the responsibility of individuals or guardians of individuals participating in a Coconino County program to notify Coconino County Parks & Recreation of any physical limitations that may impair their activity in the program for which they are registered.

Cancellation/Withdraw/Transfer Any participant enrolled in a program cancelled by Coconino County Parks & Recreation will be offered a refund in one of three ways: 1. If paying by a credit card, a full refund will be credited to the card used to enroll in the program. 2. A full refund will be given in the form of a check. Please expect 2-4 weeks for delivery. 3. A full refund will be credited to the Customer Account for use in another program or facility rental. Any participant in a program that wishes to withdraw prior to 3 business days before the program start date can do so and receive a full refund on their Customer Account or a refund via credit card/check less an administrative fee of $3.00. Withdrawing within 3 business days will result in a 50% refund. There are no refunds once the program starts and program fees are not refunded/prorated for participants who miss portions of programs. Transferring from one program to another can be done anytime before the program begins at no additional charge.

Drop-In Policy Drop-ins are welcome when space is available on many of our programs. Please make sure the course description and your fitness level are compatible. Program fees are due immediately and a registration form/ waiver must be completed. Registering is the best way to ensure your participation in a program. All programs must meet minimum numbers in order to operate. Programs that do not are canceled.

Holiday Closures Programs typically do not run on observed holidays. On these days the administrative office will be closed. For a list of closure dates, please see our website.

Photo Policy Coconino County Parks & Recreation reserves the right, and may grant permission to the media, to photograph programs and participants. Please be aware that these photos are for promotional purposes and may be used in future publications and media communications in any format. By participating in CCPR programs, you consent to the taking and publication of your photograph for these purposes.

Program Guidelines 1. Deadline to register is 3 days before the first day of the program. 2. Our programs must meet minimum and maximum enrollment standards. Programs may fill quickly or may be canceled due to low enrollment. 3. All programs of a physical nature involve some risk. By registering for the program of this nature, there is an assumption of risk by the participant. 4. Coconino County carries no medical insurance and assumes no liability for personal injuries or loss of personal property of persons participating in or attending Coconino County programs. Participant must cover any medical costs incurred. 5. Please dress and come prepared for any type of weather. Programs will typically run in rain, snow, or shine. Cancellations for lightning may occur. 6. It is the responsibility of the participant to know their own abilities as it pertains to outdoor recreation. If you need to know the difficulty of the program, please ask.

Waitlist Policy If a program has reached the maximum number of participants, you will be given the option to be added to the waitlist. The waitlist is first come, first serve, and will allow you to register for the program if someone cancels their registration. You will be notified via phone if a roster spot becomes available. You will have 24 hours to respond before we move to the next person on the waitlist.

HOW TO REGISTER

Full payment is due at time of registration. Registration is due 3 days before the first day of the program. 1. You can register Online at coconino.az.gov/RecPrograms using CocoRec. 2. You can complete walk-in registration by coming into our main office Monday - Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. 3. You can mail-in your registration to our main office. RECOMMENDED Online Registration through CocoRec This method is by far the easiest way to register for programs. To register with CocoRec, you must first set up a Customer Account. This should take only a few minutes. Once you have a Customer Account, click the Programs link on the top of the screen. From there you can find activities in numerous ways: location, program type, program subject category, and program age category. You can also enter in any of the program numbers into the search box on the right side of the screen. After you have found the program(s) you want to register for, simply add the programs into your cart . You will get a confirmation e-mail after you have paid for the program. Payment Methods: Credit Card or Electronic Check.

Walk-In Registration To save time, we recommend that you fill out the registration form at coconino.az.gov/parks and take it to the Coconino County Parks & Recreation main office at 2446 Fort Tuthill Loop in Flagstaff, AZ. A CCPR Staff Member will then assist you in the registration process. The registration form will also be available in the main office. Your registration confirmation will be given to you by the CCPR Staff. Payment Methods: Cash, Check, or Credit Card

Mail-In Registration To mail-in your program registration, simply fill out the registration form at coconino.az.gov/ parks and supply payment in form of cash or check. Please mail those items to the address above. It is recommended that you follow-up with a phone call to ensure that the form got to the office. If you would like to pay by credit card, it is recommended that you follow the Online Registration directions above. Payment Methods: Cash or Check.
