Come and join the festive fun. Christmas comes alive in Penzance every Saturday from the 26th November, when we have our big light switch on. Help us to celebrate Christmas every Saturday with live bands, magicians, festive story tellers, balloon artists, fire sculpture, acrobatics and a few other surprises as well. Street markets on Saturday 26th November and 17th December, and on Wednesday 21st December as part of the iconic Montol Festival. Don’t forget there’s also reindeer in town on the 17th December and the Humphry Davy Lantern Parade. The Montol Festival on the 21st December celebrates the winter solstice with masked revellers, fire displays and processions through the town at 4pm, 7pm and 9pm. For more information please go to
