WELCOME TO A NEW ERA Introducing a total 100% Anti UV-ray monofilm windsurfing sail. After having presented our BLACK ANTI UV-MONOFILM, we took flat water sails to the next step, by letting the transparent windows belong to the past. Adding a new Anti-UV transparent BLACK window, will not only bring your windsurfing being unique on the water, but to have a 100% Anti UV-Monofilm to the sail. More aggressive and stealth looking. Protecting your sails even more from the UV-Rays and acting as darkening lenses. All our Ply, X-ply and Scrim monofilm are produced in the Unites States including the new 7548 Yellow. The less the transparent the monofilm, the more they will last in the sun. Just like our Black, our new Yellow monofilm, is also not transparent, and darker the colour the longer it will shield the material from the UV rays. What damages the monofilm is not the heat, but the UV-Rays. These go through the monofilm, cooking the material, with the result that it will become stiffer and brittle. Our monofilm is built in layers with inside the coloured anti UV glue, which blocks completely the UV rays, compared to transparent monofilm. If you will leave one of our sails on the grass, against a normal monofilm sail, you will notice how our sail will protect the grass, while the transparent monofilm sail will just allow the UV-rays to use the monofilm as lenses and burn the grass. The cost of transparent monofilm against Anti UV-Rays monofilm is over 1:8.

The Dacron has been reworked on each size to calibrate the skin tension of the sail for the different conditions it would be used in. Making the bigger sizes more reactive and the smaller one more comfortable. More upwind performance has been given to the bigger sizes, to get back to upwind in less time to the lineup.

Well-made and eye catching, the Point 7 Spy is much more than its billing as a Power FreestyleWave sail would imply. Offering an abundance of power and practicality over a wide wind range, it is a true all-round contender and comes well recommended by us. Particularly in onshore conditions and small waves, to use the power of the sail in the surf and jumping. Really good in Bump and jump also. The leach has been reworked to be compatible with foiling, without losing it’s original powerful performance.
The plan was, having a dedicated wave sail to bring non-pro wave sailors to have an autopilot to go and hit that lip. The freestyle sail which has no limits, and no wind range limits.
The batten layout on the full outline has been changed on the 3.6 and 5.5, bringing a stiffer leech to offer a bigger stability and control during the show. The leach has been reworked to be more closed as act as better blade when clew first. No X-ply material have been used to allow the sail to breath more and give the extra power through the moves.

The fastest sail in downwind slalom racing. The first real race sail with only 3 cams and 7 battens.
2019 was first version from the 3cam and 7 batten AC-One history. There was still lots to explore and test after having taken this sail to the first slalom events. All details have been gone through to modify the secondgeneration edition. A big boost will come from a new opening of the lower part of the leach. For those who have the first edition, will straight away feel the work done on it! More torque from zero to top speed. More stability over the chop, stabilizes any board. The pure slalom racing tool. In addition, the sizes 5.0, 5.6 and 6.2 have been adapted to use our rdm masts only. Softer feeling in stronger wind, faster rotation.

High quality windsurfing masts are mainly manufactured in Italy. Our supplier is based in Italy and produces in Italy. Most of the masts might look the same, but often produced by different manufactures with different machinery, materials, and technology. The mast is a very important accessory for our rig. It’s the back bone of your windsurfing sail. The same as having a suit tailor made. A large 9m slalom sail have different qualities and performance characteristics from a 5m slalom sail which is used in strong wind. The curve and stiffness of the mast needs to be developed accordingly. Our curves are progressive, and each mast length has a specific curve to work best in that specific condition. Shorter mast lengths are having softer bases and stiffer tops to guarantee comfort and stability, longer mast lengths are stiffer in the base and softer in the top to give more power in light winds and breathing of the sail. From now our mast lines have the bend curve printed on them, so you will know more of the product you are buying!

No compromise in its performance. Racing, best reflex and light weight. If you choose this mast it’s because you want to dominate in speed and acceleration. As the gusts hits the sail, the mast will help convert this power into speed and keep the sail lighter whilst maintaining full control. The Blackprime is constructed using a third extra layer of carbon in the top section of the mast. This is meant to accelerate the reflex of the upper leach of the sail and supply extra acceleration and speed to the entire rig. Some extra care is needed as the mast only has a minimal protection, giving the carbon the best performance possible.
The high carbon content and quality of this mast will ensure durability and a good reflex that will lighten the feeling of any rig. The BlackCore mast range comprises an 80% carbon content and is produced to the exact specifications of the Point-7 standards for bendcurve and hardness. The performance against the BlackPrime is very minimal and can only be measured with a clock, it will not be felt. Advantages gained from a higher glass content and lower carbon percentage, is that the masts are better protected against breakage but thereby also a little slower in its response than a pure carbon mast.
A 60% carbon content sing the same high carbon quality as the more expensive masts, and produced to the exact Point-7 standards for bend-curve and hardness. This mast is extremely light for its class and built utilizing the same technology and quality of carbon as the BlackPrime. The BlackRide is made in Italy to guarantee optimal quality and performance for its class.

It’s about having a curve which allows your front and back arm to sit in a natural ergonomic position while sailing, automatically positioning the sail at the right angle for the wind to enter and exit the sail. This position varies with the wind strength and windsurfing discipline, so each boom size needs to be developed accordingly.

The needs of a wave boom’s curve is very different from the curve for a slalom boom, just like a slalom boom for strong wind is very different from a boom for light wind slalom - one needs to offer control and the other power. Developing the right curve brings comfort and, respectively, performance.

We have developed the correct tail width to suit each boom size and its uses. The width of the back end of a boom is very important - the wider, the more power; the narrower, the more control. We have studied each size to fit best the sail sizes it’s designed for. Diameter is another important factor as it does bring comfort to the forearms and saves wasting energy whilst out on the water. At Point-7 we have developed our boom using the Octatube – a carbon tube shape with 8 sides, designed to ergonomically fit the natural shape of the hand when gripping. We vary the diameter used according to the discipline; 25mm for the wave boom, 27mm on the 170-slalom boom, and 29mm on the two larger sizes of the slalom boom.

Having the right tools, is half the work done. The Point-7 extensions are based on a very simple indestructible system that is quick and simple to use and allows for effortless downhaul, even on very big sails. The pulley and cleat system is attached directly onto the aluminium tubing, with no crossing lines. With the brass rollers, downhaul efforts are reduced to the absolute minimum. The extension tubes are made with strong T8 grade aluminium and are available in lengths of 32 cm/48 cm with adjustment increments for every 2.5cm. The extensions can be sailed at the full 32cm or 48cm extension heights and are supplied with the original Marlow 3.8mm Formuline rope.

In case of panic, pull the yellow QR plugs when caught under the sail, or in any emergency situation. The QR lines will immediately release from the harness straps, and set free the harness hook.
Have different QR lines lengths, and change the lengths according to who will use them in the family. If conditions change, if the same boom is used for different sail sizes, you can easily change length of the QR lines, without having to have the standard Variolines which wear out with time.
Not only the harness straps can be placed on the boom without taking out the back end, but to fix the QR lines to the QR straps, it takes only few seconds.
