- Welcome to this evening’s Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) match. Lorain County is one of the top NJCAA Division III teams in the country after finishing 5th at nationals last year. This year, they are 8-4 overall and 1-1 in OCCAC play. Meanwhile, Owens is ranked fifth at the NJCAA Division II level. - Owens is currently tied with Sinclair for the top spot in the OCCAC - Offensively, Lorain County is led by Maryssa Kellick and Kara Keim in kills. Defensively, Ali Stanziano and McKenzie Zauner are top in digs and Kellick leads in blocks. - Congrats to Tyanna Smith, who broke the Owens single match hitting percentage record last week vs Cuyahoga (13 kills, 0 errors, 14 attempts, .929 percentage). - Congrats to Christine Tylutki, who was named the OCCAC player of the week for matches played Aug. 29 - Sept. 4. - Owens is 23-0 all-time vs Lorain. In 69 sets, Owens has won 68 sets with the lone loss coming 10-23-13.
