Impressively, the team’s top six scorers are all freshmen. - Today’s game, meanwhile, is the conference opener for Owens. They are coming off a 96-67 win on the road over Adrian College’s JV team on Friday. Luke Mayer had a career-high 18 points off the bench, and Derrik Jamerson had 17 points and 11 rebounds. - As of Dec. 12, Owens sophomore point guard Roy Hatchett is second in the nation in assists per game at 8.4 - Following today, things won’t get any easier for Owens as they travel to No. 4 Sinclair (9-0) on Saturday.
