Big Bear Weichberger

Laurent was born and raised in Manhattan, about one mile from the World Trade Center. He started following Avatar Meher Baba in 1986. In July 2004, Laurent founded OmPoint Innovations with support from Don E. Stevens. In the Fall of 2007, Alison Govi and Laurent launched the OmPoint International Circular to share Avatar Meher Baba's message of love and truth, and continuing to honor all spiritual paths, in the spirit of Baba's "Beads on One String." Subsequently Karl Moeller took over the graphic layout and design part of the OmPoint publication. Since 2012 Laurent has been working professionally on Big Data app development with Apache Spark, Kafka, Graph databases, and much more. In 2017 he moved to North Carolina with his wife and children.
