here’s a popular song by American alternative rock band, weezer, that goes, “Beverly hills, that’s where I want to be…” Entrepreneur, Janice Lenius, living on a wholesome farm in Cherryville, BC, wasn’t singing that tune when she set about making soy candles, lip balm and sweet-smelling, organic soaps in her basement. Even when she launched Earth Elements Farm Products in 2009, selling her products wholesale and quickly acquiring 45 retail spots across Canada, Janice could not have imagined what fate had in store. Big demand led to a shop in the little village of Lumby.
