Friends play a vital role in our achievements both on stage and in the community. Every pound we receive goes into supporting new writers, new plays, nurturing talent and finding creative ways of using theatre to unlock the future prospects of children and young people.

About Live Theatre Since Live Theatre was established in 1973 weâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;ve gained a reputation for work that is outstanding, challenging, confident and relevant. Our commitment to these values has enabled us to attract some of the worldâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s finest writing talent, and many plays born at Live Theatre have been or are now being sought out to transfer to London and other national and international venues. We support skill-development in young people aged 6-25 through inclusive theatre-making projects which build literacy, communication and self-esteem, preparing them for work and broadening future horizons. By providing a platform for people of all ages to highlight modern issues and challenge views, Live Theatre brings together diverse audiences, artists and participants and builds communities.
