PRODUCT CONCEPT Product: Tote Bag FORM The semi structured form of the bag has been derived from the geometric silhouettes of Anita Dongre’s runway collections. It always attempts to capture the boldness and edgy look of the modern woman- to incorporate Anita’s frequent indulgence in Women Empowerment campaigns. The top half reflects the femininity and elegance of her designs. HARDWARE Anita’s collection of bag usually showcase drawstring Potlis, a traditional clutch bag. This product as adjusters, instead of strings while maintaining the style of gathered fabric o the top. Antique gold finish hardware is used to depict the personal laidback style of the consumer. TRADITION Anita is known for her constant and innovative use of traditional techniques and fabrics to keep the heritage alive. The famous Ikat embroidery from Andhra Pradesh has been used in this bag in the form of a printed textile The lining is made of gold raw silk with hints of red emerging through the folds of the fabric. A combination of Anita Dongre’s design philosophy, techniques and the consumers personal style have contributed to the design of this bag.
