Nestled on Biscayne Blvd at 86th street, the Antiques & Design Mall is recognized as Florida’s premier destination for antiques, collectibles, mid-century, art deco, fine art galleries and design firms. With its unique location at the crossroads of Miami, Miami Shores and El Portal, the Mall recently underwent a redesign and is poised to become “the” destination for unique art and design pieces. The Antiques & Design Mall’s first Art Fair will be held for 14 days during Miami Art Basel Week 2016. The annual fair, taking place from November 26th to December 10th, 2016 will feature over 50 dealers within the interior design industries from across the USA, Europe and South America. In addition, the fair will host exhibitions showcasing solo and group showings, muralists, video art, live paintings and musical performances within its art galleries and event spaces.

Sponsored by Imagen magazine, Miami’s premier Mall of galleries and design stores will host leading art collectors, interior designers, cultural leaders, collectors and curators from around the world to preview the Fair before it opens to the public. Pinch Kitchen will provide food.
Closing day will introduce guests to the mall’s exhibition spaces, design stores and venue spaces with health & wellness activities and an organic food market presented by The Village of El Portal. In the evening Share Art PopUp will present the Coming Out Cuba Foundation fundraiser “La Otra Cuba,” a reveal of The Gay Cuban Heritage Program prior to the Cuban Revolution.

Fair Grand Opening The fair will open at 10:00 AM and welcome guests with an open-air market by Lincoln Road’s Antique & Collectible Show. With a
focus on the surrounding communities and the impact the redesigned Antique & Design Mall with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony with community officials and mall executives. The event continues into the evening with a DJ spotlight by the artistic and colorful DJ Adora, a miami legend who has been featured as the subject of a gallery showcase and on the pages of New Times Miami. Pinch Kitchen will provide food. Monday • November 28th thru Friday • December 9th The fair will be open daily from 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM, with workshops, lectures and conversations with shop and gallery owners showcasing artists and craftsmen. Share Art PopUp is the first branded popup concept produced by Share Media Agency. The innovative 30-day Art PopUp gallery is the first of its kind. It features over 20 artists and design brands in two intimate side-by-side gallery spaces. The two uniquely designed galleries will display hand painted murals on 25-foot high-vaulted walls by distinguished muralists like Renda Writer and Rod Royal. Adorning the delightfully crafted mural-walls is an array of captivating art and striking furniture from stores like One of a Kind furniture – all strategically curated by Share Media Agency Art and Design Director, Osmany Caballero.
