To keep your eye on ! Chaumont-sur-Loire 23rd INTERNATIONAL GARDEN FESTIVAL April 25 - October 19, 2014 For its 23rd edition, the Chaumont-sur-Loire International Garden Festival invited designers and landscapers worldwide to touch on the theme of deadly sins. The gardens will celebrate an alchemy that can not be perfect, that is to say without sin, but, according to Valery, "the perfection of the just"... What about greed and pride in the garden? Sloth and lust? Wrath and envy? Can gluttony be a guilty pleasure, getting carried away be a holy wrath, pride a sin of youth, the rest of laziness "a secret charm of the soul" for La Rochefoucauld, and lush gardens, "cause of generation," according to Leonardo da Vinci? www.domaine-chaumont.fr

France Nature Festival May 21-25, 2014 For its 8th edition, the Nature Festival will take a special look at wild plants, whether they are rare and protected, such as those listed on the IUCN's Red List of Threatened Species or more traditional ones. The Nature Festival is also an opportunity to focus on the use of plants and their medicinal properties, through some events especially dedicated to the theme and offered throughout France. www.fetedelanature.com

A sitting room for everyone... One of the adjectives unanimously used about the living room, of course, is that it should be welcoming. This quality can come in feminine and masculine versions, depending individual taste. For a feminine version, a more or less emphatic romantic style results in a "cozy" and fresh atmosphere. AMADEUS offers us a range of furniture and accessories to create a romantic decor. Pink accents, furniture with curved lines: just a few elements to create a soft, warm atmosphere in a living room. For a less pronounced but equally pleasant atmosphere, we are drawn in by more neutral furniture and setup. We like to focus on comfort and the functiona-

lity of the features in our living room. A beautiful, nice and soft rug, a simple sofa where children and adults alike can feel comfortable, and custom bookcase from HULSTA will get everyone on the same page. Some other essential elements of the romantic style are floral patterns evoking nature. These patterns are available in an infinite range of small or large bouquets of flowers, on fabrics or wallpaper. With the AMADEUS "Charme à la Française" range, you can also count on quaint furniture and accessories, a crystal chandelier, sconces, a vanity or Baroque dresser. Whatever the style, there's always something for your sitting pleasure.

Playing with shapes and materials... If there is one place where you can give free rein to all your desires, where you can take any chance, it's at home. Anything is possible, especially if you want to have fun. Designers and distributors of furniture and decorative objects have fully integrated this new trend: for AMADEUS, it's the Korb range, which defines this eclectic style with the expression, "contemporary fun. "A selection of trendy objects and favorites lets you add a touch of originality and unconventionality to your interior. A pair of funny heart-shaped tables subtly introduce bright colors in a chic, elegant universe. They can be used as end tables and will lend vibrancy to a

living room. Originality is also hidden in the details of traditional furniture. From SOFACASA, sofas are distinguished from each other by their material effect. An original decor is a style that looks like we do. Since the objective is to treat ourselves above all else, this can include regressive objects or shapes; for KORB this trend is represented by statues of animals, re-purposed objects, and flashy colors, lacquered silver, gilding, glitter. Mixing styles and materials is another way to create a fun atmosphere. One idea from SOFACASA is to create a contrast between very high pile carpet and a woven imitation leather sofa, now that's a good idea!

Variations on the theme of wood ... As a decorative and construction material, wood is back on center stage. Furniture, homes, flooring, kitchens, bathrooms or decorative accessories, gone is the reputation of wood furniture being outdated. Revisited by designers like at SENGTAI, the lines are very stylish and contemporary in this range, with clean and graphic lines with a wide choice of colors to suit all your decorating ideas. The basic idea of these new ranges of furniture is to offer different styles, to best match your existing furniture. The blond color of the pine wood, the natural spirit are the assets of TEMPO, the new line from CASITA. On the practical side, everything is provided for the

optimal arrangement of a modern living room. In terms of usability, the simplicity of the furniture, the gently brushed pine highlighting the wood grain, create a beautiful, warm, bright harmony in this living space we find ourselves in with pleasure, for a relaxing break with friends or an evening curled up watching TV. It can take on a tough sturdy look, like in this solid model from CASITA--wood is very flexible. It bends at will, embracing fluidity, curves, but for all that it can still follow strict lines and graphic games and has a resolutely fifties or Scandinavian inspiration from SENGTAI. Inside or out, discrete or imposing, it is naturally designer.

Exceptional furniture... Off the beaten path of decoration, the objective of luxury design is to offer exclusive models that have arisen from the meeting of the best specialist craftsmen and designers passionate about luxury. Their valuable knowhow, paired with a requirement of high quality, guarantees the rarity of the objects created.Futuristic or timeless, each piece is a new story that each decor that makes unique. For its furniture, ÉLITIS offers the best of its leather, cabinet making, lacquer, and bronze workshops. Each hand-assembled piece is unique and signed. Luxury and originality can be summarized in a single approach, expressed by an action verb: "to dare."Daring with

shapes, styles, colors, and materials, with a piece that catches the eye and leaves a trace in the memory of whoever sees it and uses it. BOLEA stands out for its originality, thanks to the "Lungo" lounger, designed to provide relaxation for the body and release for the mind. Unconventional, playful BOLEA creates a strong, unclassifiable image. Beauty is universal and timeless, it inspires and unites. Philippe Delzers tells it in his collection designed for ÉLITIS. Just read between the lines of the stitching, the crocodile and python scales, the shades of the bronze, the graining of the dark woods, powdery, bright. For an exceptional patio set, the only watchword is to surprise.

Masculine style... Decoration is not just about women. Men have taste too and they express it! Whether in fashion with the "boyish" style, or in the home, the trend is toward masculine! And what are the attributes of a masculine decoration style, you might ask? Well, it

doesn't bother with frills. The house then takes on dark colors and a stylish look that will be preferred in the living room for its very warm side. We appreciate its sleek, angular lines, leather, wood or or even steel, and the warm, comforting colors in shades of brown, gray and black. The centerpiece that lends its masculine character to the living room: the leather sofa, large and massive like this model from BELLPORT. It's complemented by a coffee table and modular furniture for your audio accessories. Robust, user-friendly, simple, yet sophisticated these qualities are, my word, quite masculine!

Focus on the 50s‌ Back to the Future... of the 1950s. Furniture with undulating forms, graphic patterns, the 1950s style always has the wind in its sails. It's a happy way to introduce fantasy into our homes. But beware, the 50s style does not necessarily mean Formica, like this coffee table from KANNdesign whose tray is a rosewood subversion of a rectangle. The cylindrical feet, in beech wood, diverge slightly from vertical. This Scandinavian coffee table combines the lightness and free-form curves of the fifties. Relive the Happy Days years. Everyone has a place in the sun... What do you think of this chair from PROLOISIR, it recalls the eighties while being totally contemporary and adapted to the requirements of our current lifestyles. Breakfast on the patio, entertaining friends, family, enjoying the garden... what happiness... yes, but only if you are well equipped. So that the event becomes successful and not a puzzle: Will Grandma be comfortable? Is it sturdy enough for children? Are all your friends going to be able to sit down? Don't panic, but the time has come to explore your best options. To accommodate the more young and restless, we rather need smart furniture, easy to use and clean, and joyous,

for enjoying life in color. For the older and normally wiser, we will need robust and reliable materials, but above all, comfort. And everything, if possible, should be in harmony with the garden and the home-that's for our own personal enjoyment. PROLOISIR offers very trendy ranges of coordinated tables and chairs, with a neutral gray metal base, and seats with bright, vibrant colors and all our requirements are met. Ocean relaxation trend... If you, like POMAX and the SĂŠbastien Tellier line "dream of Biarritz in summer," then give yourself an Atlantic decor. What's more relaxing than the great outdoors, endless beaches, the seaside villages, that relaxed way of life, close to nature, with a wild, proud and understated spirit. For its summer 2014 collection, POMAX offers a whole selection of decorative objects inspired by the Atlantic, with materials and shapes evoking the French west coast, the seaside, and the tableware of family homes on the Island of RĂŠ.

Hanging fish, linens in grays and blues, for the invigorating atmosphere of the west coast and vacation homes, with the driftwood, the Landes pine, and shades of pastel colors. In the Biscarrosse collection from PIVETEAU, the patio furniture is definitely inspired by Basque Country: benches, sun loungers, and garden chairs come in a range of colorfully striped fabrics for a very fun, friendly result. The Cabourg series from PIVETEAU, evokes the resort town's beach cabins that are so typical and recognizable. You have an ocean of choices.

My patio is my kingdom... The penthouse, if you're lucky enough to have one, is urban by definition. Even if your home is near a park or garden, the patio is nevertheless still seen as a place where we can try to reproduce the feel and appearance of nature, of a dream garden. Organizing and decorating the patio is a way to get what we miss so much. A place for yourself and for those you want to share special moments with. For some, this dream will be a haven of peace, an oasis of gentleness, of calm, with clear, soothing colors, smooth materials, without roughness, like the Modena model of patio furniture aluminum by Delamaison, in Capuccino.

For others, the patio is a space you can draw energy and vitality from, making up for the lack of plant-life, which will be a source of regeneration, for which colors will resonate with the visual and emotional stimuli of plant life. In this spirit, LEROY MERLIN has come out with its own line of artificial turf, it lets you bring a touch of color to balconies and patios. To create a coordinated, outdoor space, from the ground on up to the furniture, you just need a metal garden set, available in just about every color, like the timeless Flore set in iron from LEROY MERLIN and voila, you can have barbecues, drinks in the sun, and lunches in the great outdoors!

An arty break ... THE new trend in patio furniture is clear: the visual pleasure and comfort that we have in our homes is encroaching on the back yard. We are indeed very far from the days when plastic patio furniture came in 3 models and two colors, white and green. Fortunately for our yards and our sense of aesthetics, in just over a half-century, designers and artists have appropriated and revolutionized plastic, ennobling and propelling it into a refined world of luxury, furthermore, it's one of KARTELL's specialties. Our cravings for decorated exceptional furniture and objects has increased in proportion to technological developments. Starting in the seventies, design turned towards "futurism" and organic, undulating forms.

Challenging the material, constantly seeking new tactile, visual, and aesthetic effects, KARTELL meets all these challenges, especially with the Masters patio model. Designed by Philippe Starck, the chair has a futuristic look, and is a real tribute to the icons of the past. In an interleaving of winding, dynamic lines, the chair back evokes the silhouettes of three classics of contemporary design: the Tulip Armchair by Eero Saarinen, the Eiffel Chair by Charles Eames, and Series 7 by Arne Jacobsen. And to complete our comfort, custom cushions, a luxury addition because they are handcrafted with the best textiles from LELITNATIONAL, nothing less.

The art of camouflage... All tastes can be found in nature, so it's up to each of us to create the exterior that resembles us, the essential thing being, above all else, to express our creativity and give free rein to our imagination, whatever our external surroundings might be. For raw atmospheres, mineral in tones of concrete or metal, which, by definition, emit a rather cold vibration, or for more plant and natural environments, the OCEO ranges feature products that enable us to preserve our decorative choices, while providing additional comfort. For FAVEX, when the location is spectacular, wisdom and good taste tell us not to pollute the scenery with the functional.

Not easy, you might say, which is true, but fortunately these designers and manufacturers of utilitarian objects make it easy for us.Indeed, for exceptional gardens, decks, and patios we like to stay in the spirit of the place with garden furniture by OCEO, which go perfectly with all types of patios, verandas, and gardens, all while keeping in line with our decorative preferences. We can warm up the atmosphere and the ambient air of our "outdoor living room" at the same time, through patio heaters that blend into any decor and which we would completely forget if they didn't bring us so much comfort, like these incredible electric heaters by FAVEX. Never without my hammock/Nap in the garden... Although the Spanish made it their own, the word siesta is of Latin origin, and we French also know very well how to nap, which JARDIN PRIVÉ furthermore proves in its 2014 collection, with hammocks for those specialists who take napping seriously. In hot climates, since the heat makes physical activity difficult, work is reserved for the cooler hours, and for us that works just fine. For some, the nap is often seen as a luxury, a moment finally stolen from work time, a moment for yourself, to regenerate and recharge our batteries in relaxing, absolute comfort. That's how HASTENS, manufacturer of hand-made luxury beds, sees it, which should tell you this is an impor-

tant topic! On a patio, beside the pool or on a deck, JARDIN PRIVÉ draws inspiration from our backyard life: with cushions and textiles in vibrant colors that appeal to large families, and canvas deck chairs and hammocks for those who only see the nap in garden mode. But be careful to choose the right strategic location, so you have large umbrellas on hand and be out of the heat. Don't forget, napping is good for your health, in addition, it is more productive. With HASTENS, sleep should be perfect, with a handmade hammock from generation to generation. So, on your marks, get set, nap!

We must cultivate our garden... In a garden, all the senses and the intellect are stimulated, it is the favorite place of the philosophers and the Epicureans and, moreover didn't Epicurus himself, practice philosophy in the garden? There, he taught how to achieve the peace of mind of ata-

To meet all the atmosphere of the house, garden, balcony or terrace, Amadeus has come out with a series of pots and planter boxes for herbs. This new collection, with its simple lines, decorated with engraved texts in trendy colors, consists of thirty different product configurations, in various sizes and colors that are used not only alone, but also by mixing shapes and colors, letting you create fun, graphic, colorful compositions. To decorate our tables with sight and scent, we have thyme, rosemary, basil ...

Stuart Haygarth

MCOMMEMAISON INTERACTIVE - No. 15

To discuss the work of Stuart Haygarth, you have to mention the power of his perception. An exceptional creator, he began his career as a photographer. From 1988 to 2003, he devoted himself to the production of images in the studio, he tackled the still life, composing his subjects like a puppeteer. He readily mentions a reference to the poetry of the American artist Joseph Cornell. His practice is punctuated by images and collages for the covers of books and magazines, or for advertising and graphics design agencies. Light has always played a critical role in his creative thinking, and while his projects were frequently built around objects, his first works were two-dimensional. In 2003, he turned the page and decided to invade the third dimension. Sculpture became his new field of exploration. With the same meticulousness, he followed an unexpected path that found expression in gathering and assembling objects. Naturally, light, which he knows so well how to modulate, joined the experimentation. The talent of the photographer is combined with a designer's research engages a production full of meaning, a rewriting of reality. His influences draw their source in particular from the surrealist movement's use of everyday objects, or in the pop and new realist movements, as well as more recent references. Founded three years ago, the furniture design and self-publishing company Feet On The Table offers modular designer furniture, sparkling in a wide range of color custom options. It's the story of a passion for furniture, for creation and for color. Sandrine Reverseau has made this passion come to life and grow in contact with a carpenter and then as a hobby, in parallel with her professional life in a completely different field. In 2009, she went back to school at the Ecole Boulle and devoted herself fully to furniture design. Each piece must have a personality and a function, whether it is placed in a living space or work space: that's Sandrine Reverseau's conviction. Based on these principles, she uses clean graphic lines to make the colors vibrate better, and she imagines her furniture by playing with stacks and combinations of cubes and modules by combining them with the colors of her palette.

1981

By Eglantine Bremond

Culture explodes! 1981 was a year of transformations. Social and environmental cues changed, facilitated by the advent of new ideals and new technologies. The election of François Mitterrand, the first Socialist candidate elected head of state in the Fifth Republic, the end of single family model, the launch of Minitel by France Telecom, and the creation of MTV revolutionized everyday life and home interiors. " Video Killed the Radio Star " The breakdown of the family model changed lifestyles, values, and landmarks also changed. Step-families, single-parent families, or even the habits of traditional families, fashioned an everyday life promoting movement, diversity, and modularity. The living room, a place of social interaction, became the main room of the home, animated by the latest audio-visual equipment. He created a lifestyle that is playful and open to the outside. At the junction of these new ideals and technological changes, new objects integrated and transformed homes. In 1981, the first micro computers appeared on

the market; IT begain to invade the family unit. Minitel, forefather of today's social networks, was launched by France Telecom that year. The first videos were broadcast on the new channel, MTV."Video Killed the Radio Star," by the Buggles, was the first music video aired on the channel, announcing a revolution in the methods of music broadcasting. The advent of audiovisual equipment in the home interior transformed lifestyles. The boundary between virtual and real faded, and new the media became real objects of fascination. In 1981, more than just a piece of furniture at the forefront of design, the TV, turned to MTV, became the

flagship part of the living room. We lived to music and movement. The sound space is considered, as much as the visual space. Music became part of everyday life and became one of the main sources of discussion and pleasure. 1981 was also the first year of the annual Paris music festival. The Memphis Group: the storm at the heart of the design... In design, the general trend toward transformation accompanied the birth of groups of designers, united around provocative values. In the wake of the Studio Alchimia in 1981, Ettore Sottssas and Michel de Lucchi founded the Memphis Group in Milan. This collective of creators welcomed designers of all nationalities, without genre boundaries, and became a true center of artistic innovation, a source of creations, each one more outrageous than the last. The group's name was inspired by a song by Bob Dylan, played in a loop the evening Sottsass welcomed to his home a few artists, such as Andrea Branzi and Michele De Lucchi, to reflect on the new impetus to be given to radical design: "Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again."

The Memphis Group broke with the values of design; industrialization and functionalism. The group produces unique pieces, blending styles from the past with modern materials. Among the cult objects created by this group were the "Carlton" bookcase by Ettore Sottsass, "Plaza" hairdresser by Michael Graves, the "Kristall" round table by Michele De Lucchi, the "Gritti" bookcase by Andrea Branzi, the "Kyoto" table by Shiro Kuramata, and the "Bel Air" chair by Peter Shire. The Memphis group quickly built a reputation, thanks to the publication of the book "Memphis: the New International Style" for marketing purposes. The creations of the group's artists were very quickly sought after by the public, lovers of novelty. Exhibited in galleries and avant-garde magazines, they attracted collectors. The Memphis Group style dominated the aesthetic of the time. Between a disco song and a neon light, a profound social change took place in the 80s. The birth of a new culture, of a new way of perceiving and living, that totally revolutionized lifestyles emerged and grew in magnitude in 1981. In 1981, we did not take ourself seriously perhaps, but that's good, because we did not get bored...

Delicious moments aroun Men and especially women who had abandoned the idea of a summer meal, lovingly prepared outside and synonymous with long preparation times and clouds of smoke, will be able to reconcile with these gentle moments. Captivating source of heat... Since time immemorial, gathering around the fire has remained an unchanging ritual. Beyond all belief, religion or social class, gatherings around the fire are still a fun time, the source of conviviality and exchanges. Fire is captivating, soothing, warming, and its palpable energy, infuses itself in all those who contemplate it. It's as if sharing this central warmth allowed those who had gathered around it to connect even more... The atmosphere of an evening around the fire is special. Your eyes, drawn by the light source, dance between the flames and the faces, the tone of voices is soothing, letting you hear the crackling of the fire. The fire has its place in the gathering, like a guest in

its own right. Until now, only the youngest or the most adventurous could enjoy this pleasure, an evening around a fire, in the great outdoors. The less daring contented themselves by the fireplace in winter time. Today, there are ultra-simple solutions for sharing a meal outside, around a heat source, which brings guests together in a common spirit. From "Factoria design," the "Kana" barbecue brazier sculpture by CesarrĂŠ becomes the focal point of your space, architectural and warm. With its minimalist, designer look, the "FAVEX" gas barbecue converts into a plancha, grill, or pizza stone. And with its lid closed, it can also be used to convection cook your food.

A multitude of flavors... While the barbecue is still a symbol of those festive times in the backyard, it no longer has to monopolize the host or one of the guests to the maintain the fire and keep an eye on the food. Gas grills offer the same flavor as charcoal grills, and temperature management, adjustable on many models, guarantees controlled cooking. Planchas, very trendy in recent years, are ultra-easy to use and maintain, make it possible to cook many foods without added fat. Thus, the culinary pleasures are no longer limited to kabobs and grilled sausage, but are open to other forms of outdoor cooking, combining the diversity of ingredients and flavors. Caramelized pineapple, marinated fish and

fresh-picked vegetables mingle with herbs and spices from the garden. This new preparation method, where the cooking is fast and almost instantaneous, makes it possible to cook in a new way, one that is creative and spontaneous. Every possible combination can be implemented on the griddle, and exotic inspirations can add to the meal, festive and convivial.Modular accessories open up the possibilities to everyone. From "Camping Gaz," with "Culinary Modular," the center of the barbecue can be transformed into a pizza stone, wok, plancha or rotisserie. From "De la Maison,’ the new micro outdoor kitchen, taking up as little space as a simple table, becomes the source of all culinary possibilities.

Happy spontaneity... Eating outdoors is a totally different pleasure than enjoying the atmosphere of a finished interior. The unpredictable sky, can upset your plans at the drop of a hat. And although these grills and griddles provide cooking opportunities almost worthy of a great chef's kitchen, the ritual of lunch or dinner outside must be a quick one. We don't cook for hours, in the privacy of our kitchen, for a meal in the yard. We improvise, under the watchful or amused eye of our guests, in a flash, with a composition that focuses on the unexpected. It's better if the equipment is up to the task... The induction plancha/barbecue grill from "Camps" is practical and ergonomic, can

cook foods in several ways, in a tasty and controlled manner. City dwellers, or those with a taste for freedom, may opt for ultralight and ultra-efficient models, such as the electric "BBGrill" by Gardenall. On a balcony, or in a back yard, it will add a touch of color. This practical grill will be a friend to those who want to enjoy their evenings in the great outdoors. Romantics who prefer contemplating plant life to patio furniture, will also find something to satisfy their cravings for meals around the fire. Increasingly sophisticated, the latest models, which could be called real little outdoor kitchens, are becoming retractable, modular.

At the heart of trendy... The trendy summer kitchens bring us closer to a lifestyle centered on conviviality, enjoying the outdoors, and creativity. What a pleasure it is to talk under the open sky, sharing a meal cooked on a common fire. Minimalist design and technological solutions, promoting ease of food preparation, now make it possible to experience simple

moments, the main ingredients of which are the desire to be together, the welcome of the moment and play. Because we often demonize trends, we sometimes forget that they are the fruit of human evolution, which they express in the creation of profound, legitimate aspirations, borne by positive values. It matters little which model you choose, as long as it promotes the staging of beautiful moments. Forget the fads, they are just a pretext... Those who wish to go to the source of this trend, may, under the guise of avantgardism, enjoy a simple shared fire with the "Jotul Terrazza " garden fireplace, which transforms, like during long traditional evening gatherings, into a barbecue.

Zoom: A chef's utensils... Cooking in the backyard is becoming a gourmet affair. Creative, it enjoys elaborate cooking methods and and facilities that favor diverse food choices. You can care for your preparations down to the smallest detail, opting for ergonomic cooking accessories, which make the flavor of your dishes sublime, like this huge grill pan by "Le Creuset ," in enameled cast iron. Since it can also be used on a range top, it will invite you to relive the flavors of summer time, even in winter. MCOMMEMAISON INTERACTIVE - No. 15

Stainless pleasure... Installed in the lateral extension of the house, the stainless pool steel gives the water a beautiful transparency, accentuated by a wooden deck for a contrasting effect of the materials. You might think you are at a sports complex. Previously reserved for public pools and thalassotherapy centers, ASTRALPOOL offers us the chance to

recreate a swimming space at home, today. A stainless swimming pool combines obvious advantages: no sealant coating or liner, or mosaic tile; stainless steel is smooth, waterproof, and the water naturally reflects its silvery color. Stainless steel is a solid material, highly resistant to corrosion, shock, and deformation at low and high temperatures. From an ecological point of view, stainless steel is 100% recyclable. Maintenance is easier, since fungi and algae cannot adhere to its smooth walls. The advantage of this concept is having a pool designed as a single piece. Simple, uncluttered, and rectangular, it extends in harmony with the clean lines of the contemporary house.

Miss Ko: A place for decorative trance…

Enter the dream... At first glance, one might think that "Miss Ko," with its name, is an Asian restaurant, in line with the current trend. And we enter a quite another kind of place, straight out of the famous designer's fantasy world... Miss Ko is firstly the symbolic owner of the site. A grandiose fresco by artist David Rocheline, with a rock and retro vibe of an enigmatic Eurasian revealing her tattoo-covered body, and hiding her face... reigns over this artistic realm. The decor finds its sumptuous unity around the theme of dreams. The overabundance of signs, a permanent diversion from expected archetypes, awakens the senses, confuses the mind, and creates an

effect of mental emptiness, like a hypnotic trance. The bar area is spread out over 26 meters, in front of a wall of screens playing Asian news, punctuated by the passage of a dragon in a video created by the label Dalbin. A concrete wall, on which morphing Asian faces are projected, blurring minds, expanding the boundaries of perception. Steam from the kitchen and the shouts of the cooks, made sacred by the decor, eventually disrupt the senses... The visitor, caught by the magic of the place, gives in to the absence of benchmarks, to fully enjoy the creative cuisine, "food art," or one of the artistic happenings held in the space.
