La Danse Noire
La Danse Noire is a non-profit, educational organization based in Atlanta, Georgia (USA). Its primary mission is to Illuminate Black Dance through various presentations including print, broadcast, live performances and public mediums. The online repository is a compilation of images, photos, reports, articles, obituaries, tributes, events and oral accounts. The print publication will be produced quarterly to celebrate the history of Black dance, its pioneers and the ongoing continuum in the field. It will be comprised of both a print and online issue.
