Eran Har Even Trio - Pitch Event
 Time Line
Good afternoon, my name is Eran Har Even.
Because I believe that music speaks louder then words, we’ll start with an original piece, and one that is actually inspired by KunstenIsrael.
 *Trio plays HENYA
Thanks to Kick Woudstra on Drums and Giuseppe Romagnoli on the bass.

Ladies and gentlemen… Thank you for being here today.
Your support of Israeli arts is a blessing and I’m honoured to present my project plans to you here today.
To start, I’m going to tell you a little about myself, my work so far and my artistic motivation.
Then, I’ll tell you about my new trio project, including its time line, its philosophy and a glimpse of our musical process.

 About myself:
I was born and raised in Israel till I was 23 years old.
Music attracted me from an early age and most decisions I took in my life were a reaction to this attraction.
During my army period, I served as guitarist and arranger for the education corps of the IDF. Afterwards, in 2006, I came to study jazz in The Netherlands. I fell in love with Amsterdam and the life here; where music was and still is my whole world.

Even before completing my degree at the Conservatorium of Amsterdam, I got an honourable invitation to join its faculty as an ensemble leader and a teacher of music theory.
Education is one of my greatest passions, and in the past 8 years, hundreds of students have taken part in my courses. Also, I have taught numerous workshops in Riga, Nancy, Tel Aviv, Mumbai and Ventspils.

 I’m also an active performer.
For the past 10 years, I’ve been performing throughout the Netherlands and tour frequently with various ensembles around the world. In the process, I have played with, recorded and learned from some of the best musicians alive.

For example, currently, my collaboration with singer Sanne Huijbregts, called EvenSanne, has resulted in the release of our 2nd album, with the title ‘What If’. This project was made possible by our winning the first prize last year in a competition sponsored by the Keep an Eye Foundation.
Just a few days ago, we presented our new album in the Bimhuis, and soon our release tour will included performances in Germany, the Benelux, Israel and

Canada. You can find out more about me and my projects on my website: www.eranhareven.com
 About the project:
This current project puts me and my artistry in the lead role. In it, I hope to express an artistic vision that has been brewing in me for a long time. The music is especially crafted for this trio; Featuring 17 year old drummer-talent Kick Woudstra and 25 year old bass-virtuoso Giuseppe Romagnoli … Since I’m 33 years old, this feels like a generational collaboration, which adds freshness and relevance to the music.
The compositions for this project have a strong element which I would like to explain using a metaphor:
As a musician I enjoy listening almost as much as I enjoy playing. In this new music I like to see the roll of the melody as a sort of conversation topic. The improvisation on the melody is equivalent to the discussion on the topic. In this project, my goal is to capture the liveliness and feeling of improvised jazz music while combining Israeli folklore elements from my own roots to create a unique experience that I can share through a CD-recording and performances on tour.
Following a detailed time-line, which I carefully put together for this project,
gets me to have an healthy expectation. This journey which starts with a live studio-recording in April and gets warmer towards our release tour in October, will give birth to a new musical creation that will be shared with many listeners. Sponsoring:
This project would need your help. Kunstenisrael has already helped connect us with an additional sponsorship
 worth €500.
My label “Berthold Records” is sponsoring this production with the promotion and tour booking for this album, worth of 2500€.
The budget plan, including all the necessary steps for releasing this project to the world, which I strongly believe will inspire and warm the hearts of others.
Of course, it’s ultimately the music that will inspire you to support this project.
But I’m happy to also provide some extra incentives.
Here is a list of donation levels and corresponding rewards (See PDF)
Finally, I would like to thank KunstenIsrael for giving me this opportunity to introduce you to my work.
 Thank you for your attention.
