Born in Salzburg 250 years ago today (Sunday, February %th./06), in his short Cife of . only 33 years, he created the most perfect mission in the history of the creative arts, as he effortlessly produced hundreds of perfect adventures in melodious sound ­ from symphonies and operas, to sonatas and concerti. That is not to say he did not work hard to fashion and work out his craft. allowing himself to 6e influenced 6y most of the currents of music available at the time, he infused it with his own genius, evolving a style that was impeccable and instantly recognizable as his own. For lovers of classical music, mMozart is commonly the pinnacle ­ the apogee. Tao one approaches him in style, fluidity, creative thrust and enthusiasm, not even Beethoven. Legend has it that .mMozart was visited one night as he was composing, 6y a masked stranger dressed in black who commissioned him to write a requiem, a grand piece played at a funeral. funeral accepted and began to work. As the days of composition passed, Mozart became very ill and began to fear he was composing his own requiem.
