INFO FRONT- PRILEP Youth association "Info front- Prilep" is a Youth NGO that provides information to the young people regarding ther Erasmus+ Program, European Volontary Service (EVS), stimulates creativity, creative activism, youth mobility, nonformal education,cultural exchanges and information distribution. Our main aim is decreasing the unemployment rate among young people in our community. Also we provide possibilities for education of young people, so they can be more competitive in the labor market. We are organising seminars, debats in the local high schools and faculties, in which we inform the yongsters about the possibilities of youth mobility and non-formal education. The projects we executed, we work on right now and we prepare for the near future are local and international, in the fields of entrepreneurship, gender equality, art and culture, creative writing workshops, environment, European awereness ecc.. Formed in 2011, Info front-Prilep acts as a Macedonian branch of Loesje international and has EVS Sending, Coordinating and Hosting accreditation since 2012 (2015-1MK01-KA110002670).

Who we are? Where do we come from? But above all...what do we want?? Hello guys!! We are 4 volunteers, all of different nationalities (Turkey, Italy, Germany and Poland) and we all have the same thing; travel, meet new people, different traditions, cultures and make new experiences... In this magazine we will briefly speak who we are and what we expect from this fantastic experience of life!! Very sensitive issues will be touched, including racism, youth activism and environmental pollution, as well as issues concerning photography, art and Turkish archeology!! Last but not least, Loesje's posters. What is Loesje?? It is freedom of expression and interaction with people. Wherever Loesje is present, try to inspire others with practical examples of freedom of opinion and communication. The posters are composed of phrases or singular words, easily accessible on the Internet and in black and white, so they are easy to print for anyone. The key message is to spread words and thoughts. 5
Batuhan Ayribas
My name is Batuhan, 20 years old, living in Ankara. I am studying Bulgarian Language and Literature at Ankara University. I can speak English, Bulgarian and Turkish. During my high school years I studied database programming, I have got certificate of international cyber security and network. I know four programming languages and various web design and graphics programs . Apart from these I worked in cyber security field as volunteer. In my free time I like to take photos, read a book, swim, paint, play music and lastly, I like software development via Arduino. I joined this EVS project in Macedonia because I love speaking with foreign people and helping them. Other than this, I want to learn Macedonian language and culture. After all, I am slavic languages and literature student.My evs is 6 months long and after then I expect to speak Macedonian language and to be a more open-minded person.I have found this unique opportunity for being a volunteer in another country.I will not waste it. The EVS program allows me to work for a long time in an organization and to develop my skills and abilities conducting those activities in which I can give my maximum, so as to help those who need it most.

Sara Di Girolamo
Hi everyone! My name is Sara and I live in Italy, (Turin). I studied cinema and TV, unfortunately only the theory. I can speak a little bit English and for this reason, I hope to improve this language, besides of course, the Macedonian language. In my spare time, I like taking pictures, making videos and sometimes like cooking, especially sweet and pasta...on the other hand, I'm Italian and I love pasta!! I have a good knowledge of Social media, internet and video editor. I know several video programs, all semiprofessional. When I was 15 years liked to draw but now, I'm out of practice. Regarding photography, I think it's a good language for communicating emotions ... a look, a landscape or some objects, can communicate different sensations. I chose to take part in this project to improve communication with other people, get to know new cultures and make a whole new experience! Hope I can learn new things and give concrete support.

My name is Lynn-Caroline, I’ve recently left good old and cold Germany for and landed here in Macedonia in the non-goverment-ogranistion
„ infofront“.
I am doing a volonteering for six month at this sunny place in Prilep. What do I do exactly here? I’m still getting to know all the stuff here, the people, the language and for sure the association itself. Furthermore, i will help during my volonteering with a school coopertion where we do grafic design projects and other workshops also we creating together with the kids a magazin with will be published every half a year. In 2018 I successfully completed occupational studies of the International Program in Applied Leisure Studies of Hochschule Bremen. The study gave me the opportunity to connect my acquired practical experience with theoretical knowledge and moreover challenge myself with new insights and a full-time study. I was especially interested in cultural and practical modules, such as leisure and cultural management. The various references to current, political and artistic subjects gave me inspiration and awaken other ideas and enthusiasm. Furthermore I am really interested in the culture and the landscape from Macedonia, which was another reason to came here for my internship. I am expecting from this two month firstly to get to know the culture, the people who live here and for sure the organisation itself. Also i am really happy to take part in that school project, because i like the idea behind it. In Oktober 2018 i will start my master in the field Media and Cultural Sciences in Leipzig, Germany. I am really looking forward to link my knowledge from my privous studies with the coming subjects in the Master. What else? Apart from beeing here in Prilep, I love wandering around flewmarkets without any purpose, especially when the sun is shining in your face.

Hi guys! It’s Olga here! I’m reporting from beautiful and sunny Prilep, in Macedonia! I’m here on my 2-months internships at the Institute of Old Culture thanks to opportunities that Erasmus+ gives to young people!I’ve started my adventure with Balkans exactly a year ago when I had to choose my field of study in Poland. Because I’m really into learning new languages and cultures I’ve decided to try Balkan studies which basically means that I’m learning Macedonian, Croatian and Turkish, history, literature and folklore of Balkan territories. My journey on Balkans started in May 2018 in Croatia on a trip with my friends from uni, Youth Exchange about art in Serbia(June), then Youth Exchange about cultural diversity in Croatia(July) and whole August and September on internships here! I still cannot believe in that! You may ask me what am I doing here and I think that the best answer will be that I’m learning about life. Because culture, people, experiences, events, food, and everything else are just pieces of our lives :) we are the only creators of it and it depends just on us what we’ll do and what we’ll choose. I’ve chosen culture and literature so that’s why I’m here. At the institute I’m working with books, documents, I’m also trying to learn how to do field tests and working a little with translations. I’ve just finished my 1st year of study so I’m not fluent in those languages (yet!). I’m happy that I have a chance to learn it all here, on my own experience not just sitting in class and listening or reading about that. I came here without any expectations but now I know that I want to give 100% of myself and share my culture , experiences and give as much help and my time as I can to the people here and I hope I’ll be given the same. I’m happy that I can be a part of public space here and to be a small piece in building something big. I love the idea of how close to each other people become by sharing the same ideas and realizing them together. Also I hope to share everything I’m learning here with my friends from university to encourage them to take part in projects and in creating their own. I believe that every day is good to start something new, change your life but you have to believe in yourself. Even if it’s hard or seems to be impossible. I did it and now I’m here with all of those amazing people by my side. And I can say that I’m 100% happy that I’ve made this first hard step into something new and unknown because I’ve found myself in it.

The distribution of land, political climate and history of the country all come together to support our belief that Turkey, much like Russia, is part of both Europe and Asia simultaneously. Is Turkey a member of the EU? Turkey is one of the EU's main partners in the Middle East and both are members of the European Union–Turkey Customs Union. ... Turkey has been an applicant to accede to the EU since 1987, but since 2016, accession negotiations have stalled. Should Turkey join the EU?Turkey wants to join the European Union, but the 28-nation bloc has mixed feelings about the partnership. ... Turkey applied to join the European Economic Community 30 years ago. In 1997, the bloc declared it eligible to join the EU and in 2005 accession talks began

Clearly economic and political reforms are necessary, but that is true of all member states and should not be used as an excuse to backtrack now. Starting negotiations will focus attention upon what must be done before entry can take place, perhaps in a decade or so, as it has in Central Europe over the past few years. If the EU is seen to break its promise to Turkey it may turn a potential friend and partner into a suspicious and hostile neighbour. Lastly Turkey’s accession to the EU might be the most challenging of all processes, past and prospective. But it will be the most beneficial and most meaningful.Â

Photography can be considered an art? Let's discover it together.. We begin to give an explanation of art; art is any work that allows you to create what was not there before, expressing yourself. With their work, the artists tell about themselves, their vision of the world or that part of it, that they observe and draw inspiration from. They tell their feelings together with those of others. Â There are various artists in the world; those on commission, artists who put their art in museums and then artists who create works ofart that someone wants to own. But everyone works for a single purpose; to communicate, share and sell their works. The main reason for taking a picture is to show others what we have already seen, as we have seen, as we have "heard". Sometimes to remember it, and to make it remember. When photography is created in order to share its vision and feelings and not necessarily to promote the sale of a product; when a photograph reaches the heart and who created it hopes that someone will buy it and maybe commissions from the others, then is it ART? This is a question that many people ask... Like any artist, whether a sculptor, a painter or a portraitist, photography can touch the soul of people as much as a painting. As well as art, photography can also be carried out on commission, for hobbies or even be so prepared, to get to show their photos to a gallery.Â

Add a little bit Nowadays, with the technological evolution, you can take a picture with a simple smartphone and send it to friends. This is another demonstration of how photography can communicate a great deal, (especially that psychological sphere concerning emotions). For example, if at a particular moment in life you want to share a mood or a simple emotion, just take a picture to understand at that moment what you feel. Another characteristic that photography has in common with art, is that of capturing time. In conclusion, can we say that photography is an art? Absolutely yes!!

Lost in the middle of nowhere Imagine yourself being the only black dot into the light. Imagine if people around you were looking at you as if you were different. Imagine yourself like you don't belong there. That's how i felt in the beginning. Afraid, alone and sad. Not even a scream could have helped. It felt horrible. All i wanted to do is go home without looking back. Go home and forget about everything and everyone. But soon, that changed. Because i was exactly like you: didn't accepted people who are part of the LGBT+ community, rejected them and consider them as mentally ill people. But once you get the chance to spend time with them, everything changes. Even the prejudices you have had before. And that happened with me. All they want is to be accepted by the "normal" people. To feel free to do anything without someone judging them. Because after all we are all humans and LGBT RIGHTS ARE ALSO HUMAN RIGHTS. When someone approaches me and says: "Oh, your friend is gay, let's bully him" I respond: "Why? Because he's different than the rest? Or because the belief of the modern society says otherwise?" I mean come on people, we live in the 21st century. Everyone has right to do whatever they want. And the opinion of those so-called "normal people" needs to be changed. And this is exactly what this type of projects are all about. Proving everyone that showing your true colours isn't a bad thing. Because the only thing you cannot change is who you are.

SLUM-TOURISM THE NEED FOR SELF-REALIZATION, TO EXPERIENCE ONESELF AS AN INDIVIDUAL, TO STRIVE FOR MORE AUTONOMY AND TO DEVELOP SELF-RESPONSIBILITY, IS PLAYING AN INCREASINGLY CENTRAL ROLE IN TODAY'S FAST-MOVING AGE (SEE FREERICKS ET AL., 2010). IN RESPONSE TO THE INDIVIDUALIZATION AND PLURALISATION OF LIFESTYLES, THE TOURISM INDUSTRY IS TRYING TO JUMP ON THE BANDWAGON AND CREATE THE RIGHT OFFER FOR EVERY CONSUMER (SEE STOCK 1997). SLUM-TOURISM IS ONE OF THESE CONTROVERSIAL FORMS OF TOURISM THAT ARE GAINING CONSIDERABLE TOURIST AND ECONOMIC IMPORTANCE. THE TERM SLUM TOURISM REFERS TO THE ONSLAUGHT OF MAINLY URBAN SLUMS IN TOURIST DESTINATIONS. SLUM TOURISM ALSO REFERRED TO AS "VOYEURISM" OR "HUMAN SAFARI" (SEE SCHMID 2007). FOR THE TERM "SLUM" THERE ARE VARIOUS NAMES, SUCH AS TOWNSHIPS, FAVELAS, GHETTOS OR SQUATTER CAMPS, ALL OF WHICH HAVE ONE THING IN COMMON, THEY CONTAIN BY DEFINITION NO ACCESS TO DRINKING WATER, NO SANITARY FACILITIES, POOR BUILDING

FABRIC, UNSAFE LIVING AND RESIDENCE RIGHTS AND LITTLE ROOM TO LIVE. HOWEVER, AS THE DEMAND FOR SLUM TOURISM CONTINUES TO GROW AND THUS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR GROWTH, THE TOPIC IS OF GREAT IMPORTANCE, ESPECIALLY FOR TOURISM DEVELOPMENT. IN TOTAL, OVER ONE BILLION PEOPLE IN THE WORLD LIVE IN SLUM HOUSEHOLDS, BY 2020 THERE ARE ALREADY 1.5 BILLION (SEE AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL 2009), OF WHICH THE MAJORITY LIVE IN ASIA. THE THREE MOST FAMOUS AND LARGEST SLUMS IN THE WORLD ARE IN INDIA, SOUTH AFRICA AND BRAZIL. BUT WHY WOULD PEOPLE WATCHING OTHER PEOPLEIN POVERTY? MOTIVATIONS AND REASONS ARE BEHIND IT? THE REASONS FOR THIS ARE MANIFOLD, BUT THEY ARE IN THE SAME INTEREST TO EXPLORE THE OTHER SIDE OF A CITY, TO DISASSOCIATE THEMSELVES FROM MASS TOURISM OFFERS AND TO GET TO KNOW THE "AUTHENTIC" LIFES. SO NEXT TIME WHEN YOU WILL TRAVEL MAKE SURE THAT NOT OTHER PEOPLE ARE THE ATTRACTION!

My name is Hristijan lioski, I am 18years old teenager who currently live here in Prilep, Macedonia i study Graphic Design in the middle school Riste Risteski Ricko i am 4th year in 4th class. I love Graphic design soo much that i find inspiration in the music. The creativity that i get from the songs i listen are having a good influence in my designs. Listen to good Music kids! Racism Racism exists everywhere you go, Racism exists worldwide. Especially in schools and in everyday life, young people often encounter situations of racist utterances or even attacks, which are fundamental human rights violations. Have you ever experienced a situation in which you were the victim of racism? Because many young people experience situations in which they are the victims of racist statements or attacks. Racism is a mentality, ideology or perception according to which people are categorized and judged on the basis of external characteristics as belonging to alleged "races" (s Tagesschau, online).
