I
am super excited to be joining Holliday Orthodontics — this is a dream come true for me. I was born and raised in Honolulu and am thrilled to return home, after over 10 years of school on the mainland. I started my
educational journey as an Iolani nerd, then attended undergrad at Santa Clara University in California. In 2012, I moved to the Midwest for dental school at University of Missouri-Kansas City and decided to stay at UMKC for my orthodontic residency and Masters program. I can’t tell you how happy I am to finally be home and out of the cold weather! I’m an avid eater and novice cook- but I love basically anything to do with food. If I’m not eating, you may find me scrolling through yelp, looking for the next restaurant to try with friends. I’m also passionate about helping the underserved. I was chair of community service in high school and was fortunate enough to serve on a dental mission trip to Guatemala in dental school. I hope to be able to attend other dental mission trips in the future. I was drawn to orthodontics because my ortho treatment

You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why? I would be pastel lavender and teal with gold glitter sparkles. Pastel colors are soft and pretty and teal reminds me of being in the ocean and it’s a relaxing color to me. If you could be any food, what would it be and why? I would love to be a whole fruit platter. I love fruits so much and a colorful food palette make it so much fun! If you could possess one superhuman power, what would it be? I would choose magic and be a wizard because my favorite movie of all time is Harry Potter. and giraffes love to eat and play. They are normally friendly and also very cute.

My spirit animal is definitely a giraffe because I am very TALL

Its a cool color that is very noticeable and would put a smile on your face while using it! If you could be any food, what would it be and why? I would definitely be ice cream because ice cream makes everyone happy. If you could possess one superhuman power, what would it be? It would be to teleport anywhere in the world.

THE NHF’S OHANA EDUCATION WEEKEND This past March, the National Hemophilia Foundation Hawaii Chapter invited members of the community with this condition and their families to stay at the Hilton Waikiki Hotel for the weekend. The attendees were given the opportunity to learn more about the foundation from industry educators, treatments, resources and services for the bleeding disorders community. The Smile Team volunteered at the event and assisted with the baby care and youth activities, while the adults were participating in the workshops.
