Jornada Internacional COLEGIO SAN JOSÉ

Coincidiendo con el Día de la Paz el Colegio San José ha llevado a cabo una jornada intercultural que ha involucrado a toda la comunidad educativa. Su objetivo ha sido el de mostrar culturas, costumbres y tradiciones de otros países par fomentar la empatía, la comprensión, la tolerancia y el res- peto mutuo entre todos. Durante la jornada se desarrollaron multitud de actividades para favorecer la mentalidad internacional, tomar conciencia de la diversidad cultural y promover así el interés por cuestiones globales, aspectos tan necesarios para nuestros futuros líderes de un mundo cada vez más interconectado. Especial protagonismo han tenido los estudiantes de otras nacionalidades (el Colegio cuenta con alumnos de 39 nacionalidades diferentes) que han relatado a los más pequeños cuentos en sus lenguas maternas. Al mismo tiempo, los alumnos han hecho un re- corrido por monumentos, gastronomía, trajes y bailes típicos de diferentes países y han llevado a cabo competiciones de otros deportes enseñados y arbitrados por los alumnos de las respectivas nacionalidades.

Coinciding with Peace Day, Colegio San José held an intercultural day that involved the entire educational community. The aim was to show the cultures, customs and traditions of other countries in order to encourage empathy, understanding, tolerance and mutual respect among everyone.

El trabajo colaborativo y la diversión han llenado las aulas y recreos haciendo de esta ocasión una experiencia de aprendizaje inolvidable.

A special starring role was given to students of other nationalities (the School has pupils from 39 different nationalities) who told the youngest pupils stories in their native languages. At the same time, pupils explored the monuments, gastronomy, costumes and typical dances of different countries and carried out competitions in other sports taught and refereed by the pupils of the respective nationalities. All of these activities were aimed at the youngest pupils by their classmates from older years who thus showed their organisation and leadership skills.

Collaborative work and fun filled the classrooms and playtimes, making this occasion an unforgettable learning experience.
