Sotogrande reducirá sus emisiones de C02 en 190 toneladas al año

• Este proyecto se alinea con otras iniciativas que La Reserva Club de Sotogrande pone en funcionamiento con el objetivo de reducir el impacto medioambiental y combatir el cambio climático.

Esta significativa reducción de emisiones será fruto de la implantación de una instalación fotovoltaica que cuenta con la financiación de la Unión Europea con cargo al fondo NexGenerationEU, en el marco del Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y Resiliencia.

En concreto la instalación fotovoltaica proveerá de energía limpia y autosuficiente a todas las piscinas, restaurantes, sistemas de climatización, producción de agua caliente e iluminación tanto del Beach Club como de la Casa Club de La Reserva de Sotogrande.

Fases del proyecto Constará de dos fases: una primera, con un tamaño de 150 Kwp, que ya tiene la licencia correspondiente y está en pleno desarrollo; y otra segunda fase, con un tamaño de 180 Kwp y cuya licencia está en trámite. En total La Reserva Club de Sotogrande contará con unas instalaciones fotovoltaicas de 330 Kwp que reducirán su consumo eléctrico en 190 toneladas de CO2 cada año. Así mismo, las obras de instalación, que se prevé que estén finalizadas a mediados del mes que viene, están siendo llevadas a cabo por la empresa CELEC INGENIERIA Y DESARROLLO SL., con amplia experiencia en el sector. Compromiso de Sotogrande con el Medioambiente Este proyecto se alinea con otras iniciativas que la Reserva Club de Sotogrande ha puesto en funcionamiento con el objetivo de reducir el impacto medioambiental y com- batir el cambio climático. Acciones como la implementación de un sistema de recogida “puerta por puerta” de las principales fracciones de residuos (vidrio, papel y plástico) para su correcta gestión y tratamiento; o el pionero y novedoso sistema de tratamiento del agua del lago del Beach Club para mantenerla filtrada y limpia sin el uso de ninguna sustancia ni químicos.

This significant reduction in emissions will be the result of the implementation of a photovoltaic installation that has funding from the European Union from the Next Generation EU fund, as part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.

Specifically, the photovoltaic installation will provide clean and self-sufficient energy to all the pools, restaurants, air conditio- ning systems, hot water production and lighting of both the Beach Club and of the Club House of La Reserva de Sotogrande.

Phases of the project

It will consist of two phases: a first with a size of 150 Kwp, which now has the corresponding licence and is in full development; and another second phase, with a size of 180 Kwp and whose licence is being processed. In total. La Reserva Club de Sotogrande will have photovoltaic installations of 330 Kwp which will reduce its electrical consumption by 190 tonnes of CO2 each year. Likewise, the installation works, which are scheduled to be completed by midway through next month, are being carried out by the company CELEC INGENIERIA Y DESARROLLO SL., which has extensive experience in the sector.

The commitment of Sotogrande to the Environment

This project is aligned with other initiatives that La Reserva Club de Sotogrande is launching with the aim of reducing the environmental impact and fighting climate change. Actions such as the implementation of a “door to door” collection system for the main waste fractions (glass, paper and plastic) for correct management and processing; and the pioneering and innovative treatment system for water from the lake of the Beach Club to keep it filtered and clean without the use of any substance or chemicals.
