ow do I know that it is Gods will to heal you? I found out what He said about it. You see it doesn’t matter what your friends say, what religion says, or what anybody else says about your condition. The question you need to ask yourself is; What has God said about it? God said in Malachi 3:6 that He never changes. That means what He said 4000 years ago is still in effect today. What He says today will not change tomorrow. In 2 Timothy 3:16 we see it written; “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” He has given us His written Word, for instruction on how to live in conformity to His will. In Jeremiah 1:12 the Lord said that; “--I am alert and active, watching over My Word to perform it.” God not only gave us His Word, but He is attentively watching over it to perform it. He is no respecter of persons, what He did for one He will do for you. (Acts 10:34). So what does God have to say about healing? Here is a limited list of Gods

Word to you concerning His will about healing:

1) I am the Lord that healeth thee (Ex 15:26) 2) When I see the blood, I will pass over you and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you. (Ex. 12:13) 3) I will take sickness away from the midst of you and the number of your days I will fulfill. (Ex. 23:25) 4). No plague shall come near your dwelling. (Ps. 91:10) 5) I will heal all your diseases (Ps 103:3) 6) I sent My Word and healed you and delivered you from your destructions. (Ps 107:20) 7) Trusting Me brings health to your navel and marrow to your bones.(Proverbs 3:8) 8) I will heal you! (Isaiah 57:19) 9) I will bind up that which was broken and will stengthen that which was sick. (Eze. 34:16) 10) I heal all manner of sickness, and all manner of disease. (Matt. 14:14) 11) I do good and heal all that are oppressed of the devil. (Acts 10:38). 12) By My stripes you were healed. (1 Peter 2:24)

This is Gods will. His desire is not only to heal you, but also to keep you in continued health. So what do we do when sickness attacks our body? Go to God and His Word and ask for your deliverance. Look at 1 John 5:14-15: “And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us: And if we know that He hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we HAVE the petitions that we desired of Him.” When you pray according to His will, which is to heal, He hears you! Since He hears you, you now know He will give you your healing. In John 16:23 Jesus said “-- Whatsoever you shall ask the Father in My name (or according to My will,) He will give it you.” We now have this confidence in our Father; that He will give you & I our healing when we aak Him. So get your foundation in what God has said. He’s not slack concerning any of His promises. He will watch over His Word and perform it in your life today!

hen howling air-raid sirens signaled another bombing raid in London during World War II, everyone ran to the nearest airraid shelter. Everyone, that is, except a certain elderly woman. The people in her neighborhood were busy during the daytime cleaning up the debris and trying to repair the damage inflicted by the bombs. At night, they huddled for protection in the air-raid shelters.

“Oh, I haven’t been anywhere,” she said. “But you haven’t joined us in the air-raid shelter every night. Where have you been?” her neighbor asked. “I was home sleeping,” was her calm reply. “Sleeping?” he asked, astonished. “How could you sleep through all this? Aren’t you frightened?” “No.” she replied. “When I was reading my Bible the other day, I found where it says that God neither slumbers nor sleeps (Ps. 121:4), so I decided there was no need for both of us to stay awake.” Likewise, if Jesus has borne our sickness - and Isaiah 53:4 says He has - there is no need for us to bear it too (See Matt. 8:17).

After several nights, someone commented that this elderly lady was missing. Some speculated that she had been injured and was in the hospital. Other neighbors wondered if she had been killed. Still others thought she had gone away to the country to escape the bombs.

When we look up the word translated “borne” in this text, we find that in the original Hebrew it meant to lift up, to bear away, to convey, or to remove to a distance. Therefore, when the scripture says, “He hath borne our sicknesses,” it means that He has borne them away, or removed them to a distance.

A few days later, one of her neighbors met her on the street during the daytime and said, “Well, we certainly are glad to see you back and to know that you are all right.”

This word is a Levitical word. It is applied to the scapegoat that bore the sins of the people. It is the same Hebrew word used in Leviticus 16:22: “...the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities...”

The high priest laid his hands on this goat and, by faith, transferred to the goat the sins and iniquities of the children of Israel. Then the goat was taken out “... unto a land not inhabited: and...let go

In the fourth verse of this redemption chapter, Isaiah 53, we have not only the Hebrew verb for borne, but we also have the Hebrew verb for carried: “He hath borne our sicknesses, and carried our pains.” These two verbs in the Hebrew are the same as those used in Isaiah 53:11 and 12 regarding Jesus’ substitutionary bearing of sin: “...He shall bear their iniquities...and bare the sin of many....” In the Hebrew, the verbs “hath borne” and “carried” signify to assume as a heavy burden. They denote actual substitution - Jesus actually took on Himself the burden of our sin, or our sin nature. It is equally true that Jesus has borne our sicknesses and carried our pains. These verbs in the Hebrew mean a complete removal. When Jesus bore our sins, our sickness, and our pains, He bore them away. He completely removed them! Both of these verbs signify substitution. They mean “one bearing another’s load.” That is what Jesus did for us. As our Substitute, He bore our sins and our sicknesses. That is the reason divine healing belongs
