The latest comes from Rasmussen, which shows (ominously for Obama) that the more Congress and the public focuses on the issue, the more opposed they become to it.
Currently, 53% of Americans are opposed to the pending Senate version of the bill, and only 42% support it. Keep in mind that these numbers come AFTER Congress spent over a year working on the issue, Obama made dozens of speeches and town hall appearances, and after the highly covered health care “summit” meeting with Congress that Obama sponsored. 55% think Congress should scrap the whole thing and start from scratch.
Of course, public opinion isn’t the only “problem” with the bill. In fact, it’s the other problems that have public opinion where it is today.
Moreover, Rasmussen points out that (yet again) the strength of opinion is all with the opposition. He finds that only 20% “strongly favor” the bill now, while 41% are “strongly opposed”. All of which seems to put the lie to the suggestion that, if only Americans knew more about what the liberals were trying to do, they would see that it’s in their best interests and support it. Victory For Freedom For Ministries

D
uring the last week of February 2010 the Tarrant County Appraisal District (TAD) in Fort Worth, Texas, settled a dispute in favor of Kenneth Copeland Ministries (KCM). Last year TAD denied a request from Kenneth Copeland Ministries for religious exemption from certain property taxes mainly related to aircraft belonging to KCM. Part of the requirement for this exemption was a request for the names, positions and salaries of each of the ministry’s employees (nearly 600 persons) even though the director of the Appraisal District stated publicly that this requirement was not law and that he and his staff never read the documentation. Because Kenneth Copeland Ministries believes in the right to privacy afforded by the First Amendment as well as the U.S. and Texas Constitutions, KCM took a stand for religious freedom and determined it was not appropriate to surrender salary information of individual employees and invade their right to privacy. Originally TAD had requested a summary of the total compensation for employees, or a statement from an auditor that the Church or ministry’s finances were in proper order, which KCM was willing to provide. However, after a recent change in TAD personnel, a hard line was taken requiring complete and individual disclosure of salaries and employee positions. Because
of that change in policy from TAD, KCM had to change their position. KCM filed suit over this issue for two specific reasons: to protect the right to privacy for all of its employees and to stand up for the general privacy rights for all Churches. Kenneth Copeland Ministries believes that the salary information of Church or ministry employees should not be public record just as an individual taxpayer’s salary is not of public record. In addition, it is our position that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is the only governmental agency with the authority to inquire and request this type of information from non-profit organizations, and of course the IRS has strict rules of confidentiality not afforded by other governmental entities. The decision and settlement from TAD is a victory for Church freedom, the preservation of religious constitutional protections and the privacy rights of Church employees throughout the State of Texas. Ninth Circuit Gets It Right— Still “One Nation Under God”

s reported in a recent BCN news alert, The United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit has ruled that teacher-led recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools, including the words “under God,” does not violate the Establishment Clause of the U.S. Constitution. “The Pledge is constitutional,” concluded the court, dismissing the latest attack by atheist Michael Newdow to remove every reference to God from the public square. Penny Young Nance, CEO of Concerned Women for America (CWA), said, “This is a great victory for all Americans and the rule of law. There is no question that this nation was founded on the fundamental belief that we are endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights. We are pleased that the Ninth Circuit recognized that and dismissed the misguided efforts to rewrite history and alter the character of our nation through judicial fiat.” Mario Diaz, Esq., CWA’s Policy Director for Legal Issues, said, “Even the most activist and most overturned court in the country managed to recognize that there is no basis in history or in law that would require the removal of the words ‘under God’ from the Pledge of Allegiance. The court cor-
rectly pointed out that the mere mention of God does not immediately establish a religion. Newdow and other progressives want the government to be hostile to religion, an idea that has been emphatically rejected by the Supreme Court and actually runs counter to our form of government. All Americans, including atheists, win with this decision by the Ninth Circuit.”

T
he Lord lead me this month to share a specific message that I ministered on for several weeks at Healing School. Through this teaching a powerful anointing was realized, and many who faithfully attended these healing services received answers to their prayers, and healing for their bodies. The Word of God makes it clear; Faith is the victory that overcomes the world. Understanding how faith works then, is essential in overcoming and receiving your miracle from God. In Hebrews 6:12 we read: “That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” Notice the word inherit. Inherit means to receive. It also means to get, or to take ownership of. If we are going to take ownership of the promises of God we are going to have to do it by faith. You see it is through faith that we receive what God promises. Operating in faith secures the promise of healing in our life. It secures the promise of deliverance, the promise of freedom, the promise of salvation, and every other promise that is found in the Bible. For example In Exodus 15:26 the Lord gives us a promise. He said; “I will put none of these diseases upon thee,…. For I am the Lord that healeth thee.” And then over in Malachi 3:6 He declares yet another promise; “For I am the Lord, I change not.” So we can ascertain from these scriptures, that God will never change His mind when it comes to healing your body. Sadly there are some people that believe a deceptive lie, and think “God put this sickness on me to teach me something.” Or they’ll even get a little bit hyper spiritual, and say, “I believe the Lord allowed this sickness to come on me.” No, God doesn’t put sickness and disease on you. That belief is completely contrary to what He has said. GOD NEVER CHANGES! HE IS THE ONE THAT HEALS! In 1 John 4:18 the Bible declares that God is love, and in 1 Corinthians 13:8 the Bible tells us that love never fails. Therefore we can conclude that God will never fail!
He told Joshua in Joshua 1:5 “As I was with Moses, I will be with thee I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”. In Acts 10:34 we see it written, where God is no respecter of persons, meaning what He does for one person, He will do for all. So this promise is true for you and I as well. God will never fail us! He will be with us as He was with Moses and Joshua. He will always come through for you and I. That means, God will always heal our bodies! He will always deliver us. He will always prosper us. He will always love us. He will always answer our prayers. The Bible says; in 2 Corinthians 1:20 “For all the promises of God in him are yes and in Him Amen, unto the Glory of God by us.” The answer to every prayer you pray according to His will, the answer to every promise of God, is always yes and Amen. When you and I find out what God promises in His Word, and then pray according to that Word, God will always respond with a resounding YES! That means God will never say no to His promise of healing your body! But if we don’t know how to receive that yes, we will never experience Gods answer to our prayer for healing! Look at the promise from Jesus that is found in the Great Commission! In Mark 16:15-18. Jesus said; “Go into all the world and preach this Gospel to every creature. He that believes and is baptized shall be saved.” The word saved here has been translated from the Greek word sozo. Sozo has a much broader definition than just being spiritually saved. It literally can be translated as saved, healed, delivered, protected, preserved, and made whole. Yes, he that believes the gospel shall be saved, as well as, healed, delivered, protected, preserved and made whole! Glory to God! To believe simply means to have faith! So why do we need faith? Because Jesus said, he who believes, he who has faith will receive the promises of God! Faith bridges the gap then, from experiencing sickness, bondage, and death, to experiencing healing, freedom, and life. So we need to study faith in order to understand how to obtain the promises of God! We need to learn how to live our lives by faith When you get the revelation and the understanding of How Faith Works, your life will never be the same.

NO GOD IN THE CLASSROOM?
n what seems like a more and more familiar tale, a high school teacher in San Diego was told by his school board that he could no longer hang signs or banners in his classroom with phrases like “One Nation Under God”, “In God We Trust”, or “God Bless America”. In fact, even a direct quote from the Declaration of Independence, “All men are created equal and they are endowed by their Creator”, was put on the school district’s naughty list. And it’s not as though this was a new thing. It turns out that the teach in question, Bradley Johnson, had been putting up such signs in his classroom for over twenty-five years without complaint. San Diego’s Ponway Unified School District leadership complained that the signs “over-emphasized” God, “conveyed a Judeo-Christian viewpoint”, and that they might “offend” others. At the same time, teachers in the district were allowed to display signage celebrating or promoting

other things, such as gay rights. We fail to see why anyone (least of all Americans) should be “offended” by things like our national motto or Declaration of Independence. And, believe it or not, a federal judge in the liberal 9th Circuit agreed. Judge Roger Benitez found that the school district had in fact violated the teacher’s constitutional rights of free speech. The judge found that teachers “do not lose their constitutional rights inside the schoolhouse gate, and that government may not squelch one viewpoint while favoring another.” Even better, Judge Benitez stated that the fact that “God places prominently in our Nation’s history does not create an Establishment Clause violation requiring curettage and disinfectant for Johnson’s public high school classroom walls.”

od wants you to prosper! If your head is beginning to spin with Pastor Mac Hammond excuses as to why this could not be true, rest assured, there are plenty of scriptures that speak directly to this issue. Although space does not permit us to look at all of them, a sampling will give us a clear picture of God’s intentions.
And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Gal. 3:14, 29 KJV)
In Deuteronomy, God makes a remarkable statement: But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. (Deut. 8:18, KJV)
Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour My righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, Which hath pleasure in the prosperity of His servant. (Ps. 35:27, KJV)
Ask yourself a question. Why would God tell His covenant people He was giving them the power to get wealth if He didn’t want them to have any? You may be thinking, “But Mac, that verse isn’t for us, it was written to the Old Testament Jews!” Many believers rob themselves of hundreds of wonderful Bible promises through such an assumption. They think that the promises in the Old Testament don’t apply to them since they were originally made to Israel (the children of Abraham). The New Testament says we have a better covenant established on better promises. But now He [Jesus] has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises. (Heb. 8:6, NKJ) Also, if you are a child of God, these blessings of Abraham are yours to claim: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith...

According to this verse, watching His servants prosper doesn’t give God heartburn; it gives Him pleasure! Think of it. God is pleased when you increase! This is a theme that is woven throughout the entire Old Testament and continues right on into the New. Look at 2 Corinthians, chapter 9:

You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. (2 Cor. 9:11, NIV)
In that verse and throughout that entire chapter, Paul tells you to expect great financial increase if you are a giver to the work of God. The clear aim of this passage is to raise your level of expectancy concerning your financial harvest. Look at verses 6-8: But this I say, he which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. (2 Cor. 9:6-8, KJV)

manda is a fun loving vibrant 15-year-old teenager. She loves to shop, play with yo yo’s, watch television and facebook just like any other teen.
What makes Amanda so unique, you may ask? Well what makes Amanda so unique is her bold faith in the Lord. Before we talk about her faith, let us get to know her a little more. First of all Amanda is home schooled, which she really likes, by her mother. Currently Amanda is at a ninth grade level in her education. About once a week, she gets together with other home school kids in our community and goes ice skating and/or other fun activities. Amanda is also involved with Living Bible’s youth group in Austin MN. Pastor Paul Junction is her Youth Pastor, and this youth group meets on Wednesday Nights. She enjoys the fellowship of other Christian Teenagers her age, and the events and activities they do together. Through Living Bible, formally Open Bible Church, Amanda also experienced first hand mission trips to Mexico both in 2007 and in 2009. There she assisted in building a youth center, while witnessing her faith in Jesus Christ. Amanda also serves at Grace Christian Church in Albert Lea, MN and works in the Children’s department. One of her favorite things to do is street witnessing to the children of Albert Lea Grace Christian Church, and opening the door of faith to kids who don’t know Jesus. She says it’s a blessing to be equipped to witness to them. In addition likes to see them experience what it is like to be loved. However, Amanda is not your average teen. On February 26th of 2010, at the age of 15, Amanda graduated from International Word Fellowship Bible College in Austin Minnesota. This Bible course has a curriculum that is geared towards adults. It is literally a Theological and Ministerial Training Course. Both her Mother and Father attended and graduated from this college. When asked why she wanted to go to Bible College at such a young age, Amanda simply responded, “God put it in my heart to go.” When the Carstens approached Pastor Raymond Tuck, about Amanda attending the college, Pastor Tuck held a special meeting with the Board of Directors of International Word Fellowship Church. They agreed, and Amanda was allowed to attend. No special concessions were made, and Amanda was expected to attend and complete all the work as a
regular adult student would. Amanda did just that. Amanda had a full load of college courses, got all her assignments in on time, participated intellectually in class discussions, she kept up with her home school curriculum, while still serving at Grace, and attending youth group at Living Bible. If that wasn’t enough for the 15 year old, a requirement for graduation is to preach a ten-minute sermon to a live congregation at Church. Amanda took that in stride, and chose to preach on Gods Love. When asked how she came up with that subject, Amanda responded, “I went to God and he told me what he wanted me to preach, and I listened.” When Amanda was introduced at the Special Saturday Night Service at International Word Fellowship Church, the sanctuary was filled with guest, friends and family. It could have been very intimidating to a young girl of 15, but Amanda received her invite with maturity, and stepped right up to the microphone, and began preaching. As a preacher myself, I was both impressed, and blessed by Amanda’s faith, and dialog as she communicated her heartfelt message from the Lord. Both her parents who encourage her regularly in her walk with God inspire Amanda. She wanted to add that she receives inspiration from her Dad, Mike Carsten. “We’ve been through a lot together” she said. Her goals are to do whatever it is that God wants her to do. “God honors the “Heart of Obedience” you might not like at the time, but he honors it.” Amanda said. We at FREEDOM believe that Amanda Carstens is a special gifted young adult with a definite calling on her life. It is recognizable, and she is stepping up and being a voice for Jesus to those of her generation. “To know so many teens may be encouraged by my story is a blessing,” said Carstens, “. “It is a lot of responsibility to be an example but one I am willing to take with honor.” One of the things she wants other teenagers to know is that “Jesus in cool!” “Whatever your situation God can help you, God is there.” “Friends are just humans that will come and go. But God is there forever. That makes Him awesome.” And finally, when asked what do you think the world needs the most? She simply answered “JESUS”

OBAMA'S HEALTH CARE Continued from page 1
It funds abortion. The current Senate version of the bill would allow (no matter what Obama and Nancy Pelosi say) federal funding for abortion by way of abortion coverage under ObamaCare. It busts the budget. Despite the fact that Obama has (among other goals at various times) said he wouldn’t approve a bill unless it didn’t add a dime to the deficit, it does. Big time. So how does he keep a straight face? Well this is Washington, where you can find an accountant or statistician to make any square peg look like it fits in a round hole...as long as you don’t look too close. Keep in mind that we already have trillion dollar plus budget deficits as far as the eye can see...and a national debt set to double to over twenty trillion by the end of this decade. And that is BEFORE the costs of ObamaCare gets figured in. It also blows a huge hole in state budgets, as it puts new, unfunded Medicaid mandates on the states. Considering almost 40 states have balanced budget amendments, this means cuts in other programs, or - you guessed it - big tax increases. It raises taxes. Obama’s campaign promise not to “raise taxes on the middle class” aside, the Senate bill does just that in order to pay for ObamaCare. The local kickbacks. You remember, the “Cornhusker Kickback”, the “Louisiana Purchase”...all those favors promised to swing vote senators to get them to vote for cloture on the Senate version just before Christmas? There still in there. And who knows
what’s being promised now behind closed doors in order to buy off House members to get them to approve the Senate bill. It makes you a criminal if you don’t buy insurance. The Senate bill has an “individual mandate”, meaning you have to have insurance coverage by law. Meaning, if you don’t have it through your employer, you have to buy it. Or else, (as in pay a fine or go to jail). It’s the first time in American history where the federal government will have somehow found the power in the Constitution to force the American public to purchase a consumer product. Of course, if everyone HAS to buy something, the price goes up. Meaning higher insurance premiums. It opens the door for the “public option”. Yes, there weren’t able to get the full blown “public option”, AKA a single-payer, government run system put in the bill, but the impact of the bill will be to gradually run private insurers out of business, which eventually leaves us with no viable option BUT the government...or make the remaining few into huge “too big to fail” utilities that are kept alive by massive public subsidies. This is, of course, by design. It’s a “big government” bill. Despite the fact that there’s no “public option’, the bill creates a maze of new bureaucracy. It also requires the White House Office of Personnel Management to establish the parameters of health plans in proposed “state exchanges”...meaning the White House will be defining what health care plans should cover. Meaning a “one size fits all”, federally defined list of insurance plans. This from the people who run the Post Office.

Let us for a moment balance the horrifying scene of Jews moving into new apartments in Jerusalem, vs the Coastal Road Massacre in which Fatah terrorists murdered Gail Rubin, an American nature photographer, hijacked a bus, and murdered 38 passengers, 13 of them only children. But the murder of Israelis never “under-
mines the trust we need right now”. Only Jews living in East Jerusalem can do that. Not Israelis, Jews, for if Arab citizens of Israel were moving into new buildings in East Jerusalem, Biden and the media would not be condemning Israel for it. It is precisely Jews that are the problem for the Obama Administration and its Media-Government Complex. Just as they were a problem for Hitler and Stalin. Just as they have always been a problem for would-be tyrants. There are, of course, no worries about whether Israel will trust Abbas and his Fatah gang. As if anybody in their right mind would, after nearly two decades of terrorism that followed the ballyhooed signing of the Peace Accords and the famous handshake overseen by a smiling Clinton. After violating nearly every agreement he ever signed with Israel, Arafat unleashed a wave of terror, while pocketing a fortune in foreign aid. And after every bombing, the same despicable conglomeration of diplomats and politicians and diplopols that form the “World Community” pointed Israel to the negotiating table. Here’s an excerpt of what is written about this image courtesy of Graz University of Technology in Austria: As you’re reading this sentence, your brain is reprogramming itself. Neurons are connected in a complex weave, as shown in this image. Unlike computers today, which follow a pre-determined set of routines and must follow these programs in sequential order (one reason even the most advanced robots could never start thinking on their own), the brain is a collection of more than a million neurons that can adapt on the fly and re-program “routines” at will. EVIDENCE FOR CREATION A tremendous pyramid of evidence for design and recent creation is available for detailed study. Romans 1:20 states: “For the invisible things of him from the creation are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead: so that they are without excuse.”
THE HEAVENS & RECENT CREATION....
Contrary to popular secular models, the heavens are observed to be young.
I. The Earth in Space Demonstrates Recent Creation… Planet Earth travels 66,000 miles per hour as it orbits the sun. That specific speed perfectly offsets the sun’s gravitational pull and keeps earth’s orbit the proper distance from the sun. Earth’s magnetic field is affected by the sun’s rays, and any significant disruption of the earth-sun magnetic balance would bear consequences. Catastrophic restructuring of earth’s interior has resulted in geomagnetic reversals. Evidence for extraordinarily rapid changes in the geomagnetic field during a reversal has now been published in main-line secular literature.[1] The work of the late Dr. Thomas Barnes indicates that the total energy in the earth’s magnetic field is decreasing with a half-life of 1,465 (+ – 165) years. Paleomagnetic data from sedimentary rocks demonstrate the field to have historically decayed at least as fast as it does now. The field, at that rate, would be considerably less than 20,000 years old,[2] and date the earth within that timeframe. Rock strata thousands of feet thick are sometimes bent and folded into hairpin shapes. In the evolutionary scenario hundreds of millions of years are assumed to have transpired during the deposition of these folded layers. Yet the folding occurred without cracking “with radii so small that the entire formation had to be still wet and unsolidified when the bending occurred. This implies that the folding occurred less than thousands of years after deposition.”[3] Earth history in space and its global flood catastrophe are young.
II. Recession of the Moon Indicates a Recent Creation… Thanks to the gravitational pull of the moon, Earth’s costal sea waters are cleansed and their nutrients replenished regularly. “As the moon orbits the earth, its gravity pulls on the earth’s oceans, causing tides. Since the earth rotates faster than the moon orbits, the tidal bulges induced by the moon are always ‘ahead’ of the moon. For this reason the tides actually ‘pull forward’ on the moon, which causes the moon to gain energy and gradually spiral outward. The moon moves about and inch and a half farther away from the earth every year due to this tidal interaction. Thus, the moon would have been closer to the earth in the past…[I]f the earth and the moon were over 4,000,000,000 years old (as bigbang supporters teach)…the moon would been so close that it would actually have been touching the earth less than 1.5 billion years ago.”[4] – giving an impossible scenario. Long before that age tidal inundations would have swept all soil from earth’s continents, due to increased gravitation from a closer moon. The earth-moon system is young.
