_xààxÜ yÜÉÅ exz|ÉÇtÄ W|ÜxvàÉÜ Fellow FashionistasIt has been a pleasure serving you as the FGI San Diego Regional Director. I have learned so much during these past few years and have met so many amazing people during my term. I am sad to leave, but am really excited about the Board of Directors that we have for 2014. It is a fantastic group that will lead you well. I wanted to thank the current Board of Directors for being such a great team to work with. One word that comes to mind when I think of our current board is committed. Each of these individuals has made the commitment to serve and has stayed dedicated to the organization and for that I am truly grateful. They have tirelessly worked to bring San Diego amazing events, speakers and fundraisers. Due to their hard work, over a dozen events were hosted, all benefiting our student scholarship fund. I had the pleasure of awarding, along with our Treasurer-Sushmita Utpala, multiple scholarships at the Mesa College 2013 scholarship banquet. Each of these deserving students jumped off the pages of their scholarship applications and it was an honor to award them the FGI scholarships. Our event planning team is stellar and already has 2014 planned!! It is my hope that they will continue in another term after 2014 because they are truly amazing! I encourage every member to consider working on a 2014 committee. Getting involved is the best way to get to know fellow members. I can honestly say for myself that FGI contacts and relationships have helped to exponentially grow my consulting business and I have met some of my best friends as a result of serving on the board. It has been a privilege and a blessing that I hope everyone gets the chance to experience. Best wishes for a Happy Holidays and a very Merry Christmas. I look forward to seeing all of our members at the 2014 Annual Meeting. Fashionably Yours,

_xààxÜ yÜÉÅ Xw|àÉÜ Hello FGI San Diego! WOW!!! It seems like just yesterday that I did my very first FGI San Diego newsletter! It’s hard to believe that I’ve been doing this for a year and a half already! It’s bittersweet that this is my last newsletter. I have had such a fun time putting these together each month-finding articles that I think will be of interest to the fashion peeps here in San Diego, getting creative on the format, finding some great talent for the covers. But at the same time, it’s time to let someone else take the reigns and breathe fresh air and new life into our monthly publication. I do not know what format will be used, but I know that with the passion for fashion that all Fashion Group members have, the newsletter will be fantastic. So, it is will this letter, my final issue will be put to rest. I hope you enjoy it and look forward to seeing you all at the amazing events on the schedule next year. May your stockings be filled with everything you’ve Pinterested. :-)
